Sounds good to me  :)

Assuming the F50 is included in the banned list?

I'd like to suggest Long Beach as a track... that might not go down well though!

Yep, Long beach sounds good to me.. I'll do some testing tomorrow and set up the lobby with regards to which cars. We'll see. I definitely think you should be banned from the F50 ;)

Haha! ok make up a list of the ones you think I shouldn't be allowed to use and I'll pick around that  :-P

The F40 is legitimately my favourite Ferrari ever but having built one and looked at the stats I get the impression I'll be banned from using it! 6.4 handling on a track like longbeach will surely make it the best non-F50 choice, looks like I'm picking between a 599 and the 360 CS then! Unless I could maybe run the F40 with a PI handicap?

For the Ferrari race I quickly tested some cars which I would think would be 'the usual suspects' , no tunes, builds only, here's the results starting from the fastest to the slowest.

Car: F50 (what a surprise!)

Total PP 'points': 39.4

Time: 1:21.091

Lap on which time was set: 4

Skill rating: Novice

Comment: As expected massively far ahead of the others and exceptionally easy to drive, I should certainly say that myself, Peter, Jason (GRD) and Aggerdo should not be allowed to use this car!

Car: F40

Total PP 'points': 39.4

Time: 1:22.088

Lap on which time was set: 5

Skill rating: Novice

Comment: I would really like to race this car but it is indeed ahead of the others (by around 4 tenths if you exclude the 288) so I think I will experiment with a PI handicap to bring it inline with the 599 and 360 CS. Otherwise, very nice car, nice interior, nice handling, little bit lacking in the top end but shouldn't matter on Long Beach.

Car: 288 GTO

Total PP 'points': 38.7

Time: 1:22.232

Lap on which time was set: 3

Skill rating: Schumacher

Comment: Absolute hell to drive! Can only be described as fighting the car around the whole lap, in stock trim you can't even take the kink flat out! That being said, the laptime surprised me as I really expected this to be up in the 23's, I assume the power to weight ratio makes up for it as it is very fast along the straights, I wouldn't recommend it but if you can tame it then it's a pretty fast car.

Car: 599 GTO

Total PP 'points': 38.7

Time: 1:22.416

Lap on which time was set: 5

Skill rating: Intermediate

Comment: Pretty good this one, my second choice at this moment in time. It lacks the traction advantage of the others but does have good handling and reasonable speed, for those of the FR persuasion this is the car to have.

Car: 360 CS

Total PP 'points': 38.7

Time: 1:22.461

Lap on which time was set: 7

Skill rating: Intermediate

Comment: Horrible neon interior and a bit tricky to drive. I think this could be good with some tuning but the interior really puts me off it surely can't be that bright in real life.

Car: F12

Total PP 'points': 38.6

Time: 1:22.948

Lap on which time was set: 4

Skill rating: Novice

Comment: The exterior is awful but the interior is quite nice, it's also a good drive in honesty it's just a shame it's a bit slow.

Cars I still need to try: Enzo, 458, 355, 512TR, 430 Scud. (I'm hoping that the 458 and 430 fall around the 360 CS in terms of laptime. I'm a bit unsure about the Enzo and where that will fall but I don't have enough money to try it)

Cars I'm ruling out based on past experience/starting pp: California, 575, FF, 365, Dino 246, 250 TR, 250 Cali', 250 GTO.

Running the F40 at 775PP (Basically little bit less power and no super wide tyres) brought the time up to a 1:22.452, I'm happy to run at this restricted level if I'm allowed to use the car!

Awesome work buddy!! Very helpful indeed!!

If you're about today and want to earn some coinage, you up for a 50 lap race of this track? I'm playing with the Enzo at the moment to see what its like.. in the 1:24s straight away, lol.. Which isn't good at all

And with regards to banning the F50 for the people you mentioned, I'd say that's reasonable. If you're about, hit me on up Xbox and we'll try and put a lobby for next weekend together

What does everyone think about running the race at a different time as a test for next week? The only way I can think to get my Auzzie friends have a chance is a mid-day race, or a mid-night race. Obviously if its midnight race it will have to be Saturday night, and that way we'd probably be able to get some more Americans to join as it doesn't conflict with other leagues. I know it might exclude a few Europeans, but I'd like for this to be flexible, and we can revert back to our normal time the week after. I have two racers at least I know I can get in next week who are very competitive..

Midnight Saturday anyone?

Edit**

Also considering 40-50 lap race for next week.. Just did a 50 lapper and it took 1 hour 9 minutes.. Would be a bit quicker without having to lap AIs every lap

Would be interested in joining this group. I'm a newbie to this forum but Iv been playing forza since forza 1 I like to think in not bad but I'm Defentialy no pro. I'm kinda relearning to play though. As I have bought the TX wheel and built a race rig. I only use cockpit view even when I drift. Might have to start useing no ABS though I still think the peddles are just as bad as the triggers on a gamepad. My gamer tag is hitmanwes. I could enter this Saturday maybe but I haven't had much practice with the wheel yet so I'll probally be getting laped. This dosnt bother me though because I'll be getting practice.
