Krassi 692 Report post Posted May 6, 2014 At this price point Xbox 360 wins .....you can play great games on awesome graphics even the new Grid is coming for 360. If you want to play decent PC games you will need much more money for PC.

The 360 experience cannot be matched on a 125.00 PC.
CaTaPulT 658 Report post Posted May 6, 2014 The problem with the Xbox360 will be getting a wheel to work with it. Some Fanatec wheels work with the XB360 and of course the Microsoft wheel if you can find one used. Have you considered a PlayStation 3? You can get a Logitech DFGT (less expensive) or a Logitech G27 (best bang for the buck in sim racing) and it just works and works well with the PS3 and the PC. Both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 have many driving games to choose from, it's a matter of getting the wheel, Logitech wheels are easily available where as Fanatec wheels are often out of stock and a long waiting period may be in order. Also if you choose to go Xbox360 and a Fanatec wheel, make sure you check that it's one of the ones compatible with the Xbox360, not all are. Good luck in your decision and have fun. Take care Regards: >>>> Jack <<<<

No mate.....with the xbox 360 you are restricted to pretty much the arcade style of racing.....Grid, Grid 2, Forza 4, PGR4, etc etc
Krassi 692 Report post Posted May 7, 2014 With other words you cant jump in simracing with money for going to movie with the gf;) But you can go step by stepp if you are on a budget. 360 or PS3 is a good start + wheel. But you cant ask - can I play iRacing on them;) Infact buying PS3 is better option then xbox360.Many cheap wheels work on PS3. IN 360 you are limited. But you must know that this is your first step and not to watch to PC titles for the moment:) Let the guys from the states to say , but PC for minimum graphics with good fps for latest titles must be at least 300$.
