Race - Silverstone - 18 laps

There will be 2-3 warm-up laps

 

 

 

Cars – You must go to buy cars, filter B class and RWD. There are about 30 cars to choose from

You are allowed to tune your car up to A class 700

Yeah its a weird time. Trying to allow perhaps some in Australia the chance to join us, and those in the US a slightly better chance too by running an hour later 

 

And yes sir.. Its a little complicated. I was going to go for just A cars; but I like the idea of doing it this way. It gives a splendid variety, and you really have some set-up decisions to make.  

I've actually purchased about 10 of the cars already over the past few days, and you can do some pretty interesting things with them upgrade-wise. My personal favourites so far are the Countach (as it drives amazingly and the cockpit kicks ass), the BMW M3 and the Exige. Tried the elise, but its completely undriveable for me. If the lobby fills up we're going to have a fairly cool race I think

Did a few practice runs last night, and neither me or the other two know which car to use yet by the looks of it

 

I had my heart set on the Elise as I've nailed a setup for it at last, but the Aston is coming along and is a nice place to be stuck for 45 mins

 

Hmmm.. Decisions

 

 

A few on the list are maybes.. Would be over the moon if we could get at least 8 to be available.. The variety of cars is going to be wonderful; and I can see us doing something similar next week (but with better cars)

If anyone wants to pump in some laps today, I'll be messing around so just shoot me a party invite of message on Xbox Live

What kind of lap times are you running? I've been running the Aston with a no aero setup and was down into the 2:10's but i've no idea if that's a decent time. I'm going to give it a go with aero parts and see where I am then.

Factors that are holding me back, my misses short notice to prepare her for a night of forza lol need to build a car after work. havnt raced without abs or braking lines. still a newbie to SIM racing. But if anyone drops out and there's room and I'm on I will be well up for it....someone has to come last lol

I'm around that pace to be honest.. I think that's very quick.. If you go quicker with aero I wont have much hope of staying with you

And there are people of varying experience. So long as you're a clean racer that's all I really care about..

Well I have just finished work, I doubt I am going to get time, as you have reminded me I have F1 qualys to watch before I can start anything lol

I'm gonna try my best to get on tonight pal.......the deciding factor will be whether I can keep my eyes open!!! Been at work today and I'm buggered!!!!
