TX power switch

Here you go Darin

Split the cord on the seam to separate it and cut one of the wires and strip the ends to attach to the screw terminals. Leave the other half of the cord intact.   Doesn't matter which half of the wire you choose .

I've used similar switches before, for lights, fans, and such. But it has never dawned on me for this use.

I'm face palming myself right now for not thinking about it. I have been setting up my new rig, and was only thinking I could turn off me surge protector switch for some stuff, but didn't want to turn off everything. This will work great for my wheel.

Thanks,

Bryan

Just found this thread and I'm gonna order one of these switches but I'm in the uk and all the switches on amazon.co.uk say 2A or 6A rather than 3A and I have no clue about amps and volts lol.

Do I need a 3 amp switch? Sorry if this sounds like a ridiculous question.

Any of these should work

Thanks a lot racerz! So the amps don't matter, I can buy a 2 or a 6 amp switch and it will do the job? Again I apologise for the questions, I'm mechanically minded not electrically lol.

The one I used is 3 amp and it works fine

Hello

Would something like this work on the usb line?

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=351410060775&alt=web

yes it works to "unplug" the usb connector to shut down the TM wheel!!!

ive installed a a aktive usb hub (like this) behind my wheel to shut down the wheel some peripherals or the cellphone charger when i dont use it^^ its also good to calibrate the wheel after start the rig....
