I've pulled the trigger...again

...and just got myself a G27...again.

Playing just GSC2013 and not being able to use a fourth controller/button box I was just sick of trying to hit the right key on the keyboard...and getting off track while doing that ;)

So solution no. 1 was swopping back to the stock GT rim of my T500. However, after using the Momo rim I just didn't like the rubberish stock rim. Well, I always loved the G27 so I thought that's better for me.

Looking forward to getting back on the G27 again - buttons, leather rim, great FFB, it's got everything. It should arrive on Wednesday :)

In the long term I guess I won't be able to resist the Accuforce though...see how we go.

Cheers

Hey thirsty gratz on the g27 , but i think you could have gone with xpadder and use all your peripherals with gsc e .

Cheers Paul. Mate, I just googled that Xpadder and it seems that's the perfect solution because it's just my DSD button box I wanna use. Never occurred to me that a program can be a solution for this. What can I say...silly me.

One G27 is always good to lay arround, I got one too:)

Uhm, it looks a bit I was a bit fast with the 'get it' button considering what I just learned from Paul. I am a bit embarrassed about this.

Well, my last G27 was an investment - got it on sale for 200 bucks and sold it a year later for $210 ;) Keep reminding my missus about it, because usually I just lose plenty of money on deals like that :)

No, I won't sell it this time...

The G27 is a proven product. It's one of the best investments you can make, aside from the T500RS. The next thing on my list is the TH8 shifter. Or, perhaps I'll just build my own shifter...

Good luck with the G27! I loved mine while it lasted.

Haha! Actually, I just meant for myself. I was thinking about making one the other day because I don't really have a good one. I still use the G27 shifter, and while it may be a decent shifter, it has an issue with 3rd and 4th gears. You can move the shifter from left to right in those gears and it will shift from 3rd to 1st, and from 4th to 2nd. That's not good. It means that something is a little off down inside someplace. I might take it apart this week and see if I can fix it.

Anyhow, this thread isn't about me. I apologize for the derail.
