Global Sim Racing - FM5 Indycar Series - I signed up !

5 posts in this topic

Hi All,

With the release of Long Beach yesterday which I think is one of the best tracks in all of sim racing now, I signed up for a league that will be racing there and other Indycar tracks.

Here's where I did it http://globalsimracing.org/en/race_series/IncyCar/ and it looks like a very classy, well put together website.

Anyone want to join my team ?  Hope to see you there !

Darin

Darin i have to agree with you that long beach is indeed a beautiful track and the first thing i did was try and beat you in the rivals event got within 1/100 of you but the traffic didn't quite fall my way then spent the rest of the night racing a friend in everything from V8 super cars to c class bangers. I am going to check this site out and sign up if the racing is at a time that suits, hope to see you on track sometime.

Darin, first off good luck in the league. I do have a request though. Its my understanding that Xbox One has the capability to stream games directly to Twitch.tv. If possible, would you (or someone in the league you joined) be willing to broadcast any of the races live? I dont always feel up to running races, and its fun for me to watch it live on twitch.

Thanks ! I plan to capture the races and put them up after with multiple camera angles.

Thanks for the kind words on our website, Darin! It's always a work in progress but it suits our needs for the most part.

We have multiple members who will usually stream our races and practices via Twitch, although it's something that you have to be careful with as it can cause TONS of lag if you're internet is not top flight.

If any of you guys like what you see on Twitch or on Darin's video please feel free to join us at any time for any series!
