Dreamon_21 4 Report post Posted December 27, 2014 Hello guys! If possible could someone send me the plans as well. boomn 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Same here. I would have bought the guide the CST site still existed. Please send if anyone has a copy to share
boomn 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Most specifically I am interested in what kind of servo arm he is recommending. I am having trouble finding a servo arm that looks compatible with either kind of pot I have (smooth 6mm shaft without slot or ~18t 6mm shaft with slot)
Psychonaut 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2015 I would also like the plans with parts list. Would be greatly appreciated.
BK_NC 73 Report post Posted February 19, 2015 Trust me, you don't want the "official" Todd Cannon CST DIY Plans. Waste of $12 to me when I bought them a few years ago. They are nothing like his CST Pedals he sold. You are better off Google'ing "DIY CST Pedals" and you'll find build guides of people who replicated the models he used to sell. A good one is this one: http://amosalipedals.blogspot.com/2008/09/building-set-of-load-cell-pedals.html And to answer the question about the servo arm for the pots. Todd's CST DIY guide did it like the below pics of Amos & Alison's build. He use steel ball joint rod ends on both ends of a threaded rod and the rod is attached to an aluminum block they drilled to fit the pot arm and with a slot cut underneath and then drilled through on either side so you can basically clamp the block onto the pot arm. Amos & Alison's DIY build in the link above and pics below look 10x better than Todd Canon's DIY Guide I bought. And better yet they look like actual CST pedals unlike Todd's own DIY guide. Or you could use what is called a potentiometer steering arm or steering horn like the following http://www.rcplanet.com/Dubro_Nylon_Steering_Arm_Assmbly_p/dub155.htm?gclid=Cj0KEQiAjZGnBRCOuJOUo9Xd0sUBEiQAPbicN2rpzvcc5MNETOIaqnMr__NqTo0xeNAmVBK8CBm12qsaAnEI8P8HAQ

kwakaman39 23 Report post Posted January 30, 2016 Nice one Mark. Have some dampers coming for my F1s. Any plans to build F1 (style) Base mounted versions? Need to build myself a clutch pedal. Maybe you should PM Darin and set up a thread for the sales of these pedals. Design similar to CST (cough, cough) but seeing as they no longer exist I'm sure your Holtech pedals would sell well. Holtech 5 Report post Posted January 30, 2016 I was only planning to make 6 sets of gt pedals and 4 sets of F1 pedals, i can't make them cheap enough here in Aus for production
