G27 launches, addresses some of the G25, has some flaws of its own. Again some hard core simmers would call these serious flaws, but unit still sells well to mainstream. G29 launches,looks to be a G27 with a new wheel and no shifter. Hard core simmers already beginning to dismiss the product. Mainstream sales??? Logitech had a pattern of building wheels, that while not quite up to the needs of hardcore simmers, met the needs of the mainstream and sold well. For them minor tweaks to an 'adequate' design has proven to be a good business model. I question though if this business model came survive the price point they moved into.
