Ryan Callan 2,576 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 Schedule All events consist of two races, back to back, as follows: Practice: all days prior to event Qualifying 1: 1900GMT Warmup 1: 1910GMT Race 1: 1915GMT Interval: 1945GMT (circa) Qualifying 2: 1950GMT (circa) Warmup 2: 2000GMT (circa) Race 2: 2005GMT (circa) Throughout the season, UK is GMT+1, while CET is GMT+2, meaning race one will start at 2030UK and 2130CET. US Eastern Time will be GMT-4 throughout, while Oceanians will have to double check their own timezones, but will be around GMT+8-11. All times are approximate, and especially for the second stage of the event, times may fluctuate by 5-10 minutes. Sessions will never start early.Server Settings Fuel Usage: Normal Tyre Usage: Normal Mechanical Failures: Normal Qualifying: Unlimited laps, open session, seperate qualifying for both races Parc Fermé : No Formation Lap: Yes Type of Start: Standing Damage: 100% Time Scale: Normal Fixed Setups: No Fixed Upgrades: No Flag Rules: Black OnlyGame Aids Automatic Clutch: Allowed Automatic Gears: Disallowed Swingman View: Disallowed Traction Control: Disallowed Anti-Lock Braking: Disallowed Stability Control: Disallowed AI Toggle: Disallowed Spin Recovery: Disallowed Opposite Lock: Disallowed Steering Help: Disallowed Braking Help: Disallowed Auto Pitstop: Disallowed Invulnerability: DisallowedFormation Lap Details Virtual Clio Series will feature a formation lap, with a subsequent standing start, at all events. Guidelines are as follows: Weaving, hard braking, hard acceleration and general tyre warming behaviour is allowed, but be careful while doing so. There is nothing so frustratingly stupid than ruining yours and other's races on the formation lap. Game Stock Car will notify you of which driver you must stay behind during the formation lap and which lane also. Anybody who spins out during the formation lap will be able to resume their position but must be extremely cautious while moving back through the field, flashing their lights if necessary. This is the only time excessive flashing of lights may be used. Your speed may not exceed 130kph/80mph during the formation lap. The formation lap is not part of the race distance, so factor this into your fuel requirements As you come round to the grid at the end of your formation lap, your grid slot will be marked by a red square, make sure to hit your marks as accurately as possible. The race will not start until all cars are lined up correctly. For those waiting, there is no message to inform that the race is beginning, so keep your attention firmly on the start lights. Ryan Callan 2,576 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 Points Structure All drivers who participate in the championship are eligible to score official championship points, including co-drivers during the enduro events. Drivers have to complete 75% of the race distance to score points. There will be no bonus points for pole position, fastest lap or leading a lap. There will also be a teams championship and teams consist of a maximum of two drivers. Organisations may feature multiple teams, only up to a maximum of eight drivers throughout the course of the championship. Once a driver has raced as part of a two car team, he cannot score points for another team in that season. However, he may leave the team, and race under another organisation, but would not be eligible to score team championship points. He will continue to accrue points in the drivers championship in the normal way. Ryan Callan 2,576 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 Entry Fees Virtual Clio Series 2014 will require an entry fee from all drivers for them to eligible to compete. As has always been the case in the TPS, we drive to offer the best value and therefore these entry fees are very low, but essential, for us to continue funding TPS. The entry fees will be as follows: Entry from Round One onwards: €11 Entry for Round Six: €free Full entry for both summer championships: €18 (disc from €22) Payments must be made (with a note or PM to myself, should names differ from entry being paid for) via PayPal to [email protected]. The payee must take care of any PayPal charges, otherwise payment, and therefore entry, will not be accepted. The best way to avoid fees is to 'send as gift'. These fees are used in a non-profit way, simply to cover our costs, which amount to more than €1000 per annum, before labour is even considered. These entry fees are also non-refundable, once the season has begun, should a driver decide to leave the series or be expelled for whatever reason.
Ryan Callan 2,576 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 Server allocation and entry list should we receive more than 40 sign-ups will be decided by, in this order of priority: Experience within the entire TPS umbrella of leagues Historical records of attendance and commitment to league Conduct within TPS leagues, but conduct in other leagues will be taken into consideration The entry fee has been paid (refunds are available should the application be unsuccessful) Driver ability (one-lap pace, race pace and racing ability) Whether a custom livery has been sent TouringProSeries Regulations available here. It is each driver's duty to ensure that they familiarise themselves with the rules and are fully prepared for each race, especially for the opening round. Mods, tracks, servers, briefings and passwords are posted well in advance via SimSync or the forum and are there for everyone to make sure they understand. Practice servers will also be live as much as possible, allowing everybody to test out their vehicles, that their game is working as it should, and to get to know one another. Ryan Callan 2,576 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 All drivers participating are required to use a custom livery in the Virtual Clio Series 2014 championship. If this is not possible, a default TPS livery will be available.Specific, mandatory league templates are available here. Helmet template here.VCS will be using SimSyncPro for all custom skins and track downloads. This negates any requirement for constant patches and ensures everyone is on the same page at the click of a button.Skinning Guidelines There are no mandatory logo requirements, aside from that the GamePOD logo on the rear wing found on the templates linked above must stay in the same position and style as it is now. This logo are required to be high contrast to your livery, so you can choose from a black or white logo, as included. You may add a stroke if necessary. A TPS logopack is available here. Windows will be taken care of by the TPS staff. All custom skins need to be submitted in a RAR, ZIP or 7Z file attached to an email to [email protected]. The deadline for first round skin submission is 23:59GMT April 16th 2013. Please make sure you are happy with your skins and they are final, following the guidelines above, before submitting to avoid confusion and hassle! Skins may be updated throughout the season, but must be submitted by the end of Thursday before each event to be included for the next round.

Ryan Callan 2,576 Report post Posted March 1, 2014 TouringProSeries are teamed up with SimSyncPro. This means that for the Virtual Clio Series, the liveries and tracks needed for this series will only be available through this software. Updates will be easily available at a click of a button.Instructions Step #1 Download the TPS SimSync Pro archive. After the download has finished, put all three files found in this archive into your main Game Stock Car 2013 folder. Click on SimSyncPro.exe to launch the program. An auto-updater might pop up, in that case, let it do the update. Step #2 You'll then see the 'Virtual Mini Challenge 2014' series. Select this only via the tick box, then press 'Start' on the bottom right. Synchronisation is now under way and a message will pop-up to confirm the list of files. Click OK and another notification will appear when the synchronisation is complete. Once synchronisation is complete you can start Game Stock Car 2013. Troubleshooting Q.
