jonixc 33 Report post Posted February 17, 2014 Here we go Week 3, Lime Rock in the Mazda Cup. This track is small and don't have much corners, at least compared to Okayama. However I found it difficult to be consistent in this one. I just played last Saturday to practice some time trials and get qualification time. Today I race and was able to finished 2nd again without incidents and started at 4th. Really good race! I think that I might need to be more aggressive overtaking positions. Since Im not that experienced I don't know if the track has something to do with it or not trusting other drivers. I'm getting really close to a car upfront, I know I'm faster but I just had to slow down everytime. So I have something else to work on here. I was able to mount a tablet right beside the wheel base with DashMeterPro to get info on the lap times and car positions, but I notice this doesn't work for me. I had to take the sight of the track in a distance that is too distracting to be practical. The information it provides is really useful though. I'll try to get a cheap used iPhone or Android phone to mount it on top of the wheel base. I think that it will work better that way. If not I might give it a try to another small monitor on top. I don't know... Any suggestions on this? For now I'm continuing reading the iRacing Sporting Code manual. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But the problem was with my computer, it was really laggy so i stopped paying I also play Assetto Corsa I have the G27 racing wheel and with my experience, it was great!!! Anyway, I think Assetto Corsa is good even though I haven't played there for a while. So much going on in iRacing right now being a noob that can't find time to another Sim right now.
