ed3lva 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2014 Hello, First post here. I am looking to join iRacing with a similar offer as the one posted here and wanted to know what happens after the offer expires? I know that I have to renew it if I want to continue but at what price? Right now there is 50% on new membership. Would I be able to use that offer or do I have to pay ~$99 for a whole year? Thanks
ed3lva 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2014 After this offer can I still take advantage of the 50% off of new membership or regular prices will apply? I replied to this thread earlier but did not know what happened.
TruePunisher 78 Report post Posted January 14, 2014 Once you sign up, in any form, you are no longer a "new" member as you would be a "current" member. The 50% off offer is only valid if you have never signed up before. Once you have signed up you cannot use "new" member prices, but the regular prices. There are member only prices/specials that do come up though. I would do the 50% off right from the get go if you believe you will be using the service for some time. CaTaPulT 658 Report post Posted January 14, 2014 My personal opinion is that one month of iRacing is not enough to form a educated opinion whether you like it or not. Once your month is over, you are considered a regular member thus paying regular price to renew (extend) your membership unless you luck out and they have a promotional deal for regular members (these are rare), best to go for the 3 month for the price of 1 ($12 I think). Take care Regards: >>>> Jack <<<<
Paul GT73 1,398 Report post Posted January 14, 2014 yeah even if you run your contract down so it expires your still a member ( no...I don't get that either) and you will be unable to take advantage of all the nice cheap deals that they give to 'new' customers, how they slip that by everyone is a masterclasss of deviousness
