So it was finally released today although many of us here already had it from beta  . If some of you don't know or have not followed Reiza over the past few days they have updates available with a new GSC13 Sync program to update to the latest patch for you. So here it is

If you already have GSC2013 v1.00 installed, you may update to version 1.10 by downloading the package below and extracting the contents to your GSC2013 folder, overwriting the files when prompted:

As an alternative, download the new GSC Sync tool below and extract to your GSC2013 folder. Run the tool to update your install to v1.10 automatically (requires NET Framework 3.5):

*GSC Sync is included with GSC2013 v1.10 – you may run it to update or syncronize your game to the latest version whenever you need.


V1.10 Main Changelog:

General

- Added GSC Sync tool for a simplified auto-update proceduresfor future developments of the game;

- Corrected bug that could prompt "Fingerprint Mismatch";

- Corrected bug that prevented some 3rd party plugins from functioning properly;

- Corrected minor UI bugs;

Cars

- Corrected onboard cameras for various cars;

- Corrected Copersucar .gen bug which could cause online mismatches;

- Corrected skinning / naming / numbering bugs in various cars;

Tracks

- Fixed various animated flag issues;
- Tweaked AI for several kart layouts;
- Various Track Camera tweaks
- Increased car capacity to 34 at Cordoba and Taruma

Physics

StockV8

- Minor inertia and tyre adjustments.

F-Reiza

- Reduced engine speed heating to correct engine overheating too quickly;

- Significant tyre adjustments to both soft and medium compounds, both in terms of handling (basically giving the tires more front bite) and wear / heating (about 0.5s in laptimes between the two, with the mediums lasting roughly 20% more). Inertia values also adjusted;

F-Classic

- Minor inertia and tyre adjustments;

- Added a qualifying tyre compound, good for a single Senna-style qualifying lap only, roughly 1.5s faster than the regular race tires but it needs to be properly managed. Push too hard on the outlap and it will be off before you finish the flying lap.

F-Retro

- Minor inertia and tyre adjustments.

F-3

- Reduced engine speed heating to correct engine overheating too quickly;

- Minor inertia and tyre adjustments.

Camaro SS

- Minor inertia and tyre adjustments.

Mini

- Minor inertia and tyre adjustments.

Opala

- Minor inertia and tyre adjustments;

- Adjusted height and wheel graphical offsets to make the car´s height and attitude a little more accurate - does add some clipping of the front wheels to the fenders a high steer angles however. These don´t affect handling.

Karts

- Tyres substantially revamped for v1.00, handling and FFB much improved.

Audio

- Improved internal sounds for Formula Retro;

- Various adjustments to kart, Opala & StockV8 sounds.

How do i till what verison I have ? I did the download but cant see a difference, dont know if I did it right or not.

Hey Ronzer, If you had bought GSC13 yesterday (23rd) Your version will already have that update but it's best to Sync just in case.. If you have had it since the beta when you run the Sync and then click "Help" > Check for updates. It should give you a message stating if your version is up to date. If you need any more help don't hesitate to ask .

 

Also Sync a tleast once a week or when ever you feel you need to Reiza will have updates popping up for awhile which they may not announce like one which i just did while replying to you .

I clicked on the link above for the "Sync ".......and a window popped up for my Winrar zip program. I clicked on the sync file that was associated with it.....and it's doing it's thing now ( I think ? ). It says it's a whopping 6.88 GB ??  That seems awfully large for an update......hopefully I'm not screwing something up here.

I have had it for abount one month now, and its says I have 1.1 installed, I clicked on Sync in the GSC folder and now it is doing something that will take over a hour.

I guess I have it right,

Yes it's a big update!, But since the official release they seem to have added a few more updates to the Sync so it looks like it's increased the amount you guys are downloading. Other then that you both seem to have it sorted.

Umm??.......This aint working.  It took about an hour to download the whole 6.8 GB. I then unzipped it into my GSC folder ( which is in my  " G " drive ). I'm not sure what to do now. If I click on the "sync".....it's attempting re-download the whole 6.8gb file again.
 
Any pointers here? I know it's something simple....but to be honest I was dreading the day when this patch was going to come out , because just getting the game to install in the first place was a nightmare. This patch doesn't seem to be as simple as it should be either.

 I seem to be having the same troubles as you here.... or as you were. I've done exactly the same thing, and my gsc2013 folder looks exactly the same as your supplied thumbnail picture. But when I fire the game up it still says "version 1.00" on the loading screen....  Arrgghh

Yeah mate, it's an absolute Prick! I have no clew why mine isn't version 1.10 unless it already is, but it should say it on the loading screen right? .... what an absolute Prick this thing is, I don't think they could've made the download, installing & updating any more frustrating.

Have you run the Gsync?... make sure the .ini and .exe are both in your gsc3 route folder.

i did mention the gscync to you on another gsc13 thread but obvousley you missed it or forgot nvm atleast your sorted, and happy to help as always

Yeah, you did mention the .ini & .exe thing and I had done that, but what happened was every time I loaded the gsync I thought it was trying to download the 6 GB thing again so I clicked cancel. It would then say "your software is up to date". But all I had to do was click "ok" and it would have "run" the gsync, which took 20 minutes but was the last piece of the puzzle lol.  

I suppose it's good to get these novice mistakes out of the way though. Cheers mate!
