My TH8A breakaway connection has died. Before it was just flaky; I would have to connect at a specific angle, and tighten the thumb screw at the perfect strength, for it to work. But now it won't stay on. I never use the DIN connector, so I'm thinking I'll just chop off the two DIN ends, and permanently wire it to the USB connector. Does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram? Thanks.
HI! I'm new to racing simulators in general but soon I am getting a new wheel, the Logitech G290, and I'm afraid if i were to play a sim like Euro Truck Sim there won't be enough buttons to map to the wheel forcing me to result to my keyboard which is inconvient due to where my keyboard is placed. I currently have this problem with the 458 thrustmaster. So then I had an idea where i could get a dirt cheap keyboard and map the buttons i can't map on the wheel to that. Only thing is I would like to make it look the part. I was thinking I could take of the keys and use some sort of button that would trigger one of the keys. If you don't understand me look at the picture I attached. (Sorry for the poor quality, it's of a youtube video. Also, I do not wish to have the e brake this man has on his keyboard.) HOWEVER, instead of the golden pins this guy uses I would like to solder wires to small switches that would turn on or off.
