  3. Hey guys so the motor just went on my wheel last week. I was wondering if someone had a broken TX with a perfectly working motor? Thrustmaster won't get back to me for a motor or to get it fixed... Idk what to do.... SUCH A BAD COMPANY ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SIDE OF THINGS...
  4. Hello SIM racers, I'de like to leave a Basic/mid-range racing rig setup under $1500. Cockpit: Playseat Revolution, Logitech G29, PS4 1TB, 42" TV 1080p, 5.1 Channel Speakers, PVC mat... yes, we can lower the price tag under the $1000 mark on refurbished/second-hand SIM racing equipment. (for those who interested in looking for). So, let me know your likes or dislikes. All the best! Greetings.

    Thoughts on PC2 for Simulation

Hey Guys, Before I purchase PC2 I would like some clarification on what people think about it for simulation, I know they just created new lobbies for more serious racers. It is quite pricey and I could always return it in the steam store but talking to people is always best. Any input is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you on the track
  6. Hi All, Hope you don't mind that I share my interview with the founder and chief engineer of VR Motion Labs, LLC, a Boston based company, maker of pro level motion simulators ($25K+) specialized in VR Racing simulations. They claim that their latest product is able to simulate acceleration, de-acceleration, cornering g-force, road surface and suspension characteristics, and even vehicle traction loss. Here's the interview: I'm not their PR guy and not advertising them, I was just curious about their technology and found it interesting to talk to the founder Mr. Bob Moore, and published it on my site. Maybe you'll find it interesting, too. (I also recommend reading my other interviews with VR racing pilots.) Thanks for your time!

    Upgrading from Fanatec CSR

Hello! I am rather new to these forums, but I need your guys' opinion on something. So, to start off with. I bought a Fanatec CSR quite a few years ago, paired with the shifter set that was available at the time, and the CSR Elite Pedals. Now, back then I didn't know much, and just chose a wheel that looked fancy. Now, the wheel has served me very well, but recently it just hasn't felt quite right. It has started making tremendous amounts of noise, the centering isn't perfect, and the list goes on. Anyway, to my point. I am in a financial position in which I can dish out a hefty amount of cash on a racing sim base / wheel. So... I need your help. So I've been primarily looking at the Fanatec wheels. Specifically the Clubsport V2.5 Base with the 918 Steering Wheel, paired up with the Clubsport Inverted Pedals, with the Clubsport shifter. Along with this I would also get the Fanatec Handbrake, and maybe some mounting options. All coming in at a total of roughly $1850. Now, given that I live in Canada, and Fanatec charges an arm and a leg for shipping to Canada, add roughly $400 to that. Now that's a lot of money. $2250 and that's in USD. With the terrible exchange rate right now, I'm looking at basically $3000! Now, that is without the buttkicker in which I plan to obtain eventually...which is another added $200. Anyway, with all of that said, is it worth dishing out that kind of money? How close is it to realism? And are there any better alternatives for similar pricing? Any thoughts on the buttkicker gamer 2? Oh yeah, and is there any sort of WheelStand for the Fanatec Clubsport Wheel / Pedals / Shifter? I really like the idea of being able to tuck it away, as I do not have the most space. In other words, don't suggest me a full cockpit / playseat table mounting wouldn't be ideal, but it's possible. Thanks so much!

    Simulation Modules?

Hello, I am building a rig with my father and he is over the moon about it. He keeps asking me about a module, and since this is my first time building one as well i'm confused. So basically he wants to build a box that adjusts to the car's movements, similar to how the D-BOX motion sim actuators work. However we're not so sure where to get a module or a control box that makes each actuator work and react to how the car in the simulator is acting. He bought four motors that would do the job to move the box around but now all we need is the control module box thingy to make them actually run If some more experienced rig makers could .help us out it would be . greatly appreciated. Thanks.
