    Sim Rigs

Hey! Want to buy a new cockpit, now I use a Playseat Evolution with a CSL Wheel Base and Pedals, also with the Fanatec Clubsport Shifter But don’t want to buy the aluminum cockpits, as I don’t have to much space at home. Is there any cockpit that can support all my gear? Seen the Next Level GT Ultimate, and want to know if there’s any other rig like that
  3. Hello SIM racers, I'de like to leave a Basic/mid-range racing rig setup under $1500. Cockpit: Playseat Revolution, Logitech G29, PS4 1TB, 42" TV 1080p, 5.1 Channel Speakers, PVC mat... yes, we can lower the price tag under the $1000 mark on refurbished/second-hand SIM racing equipment. (for those who interested in looking for). So, let me know your likes or dislikes. All the best! Greetings.
  4. OpenSimRacing.com is now open! Calvin (another ISRTV forum member) and I have been working on a new web site for the last couple of weeks. Many of our designs have been requested by ISRTV members and it is time to open a proper store to distribute plans and parts for other sim racers to enjoy. Utilizing our combined design skills we have come up with a variety of sim rigs to fit multiple budgets, and design tastes for any level of sim racer. Please come check out our store and any feedback would be appreciated! The site is fully functional but please expect 5-10 business days before shipments. Our parts quantities are very small at the moment so it’s nice to get a bundle before going to our suppliers. Thank you for your patience. This website has been designed to be open to the community, so we are always recruiting new designers and open to new ideas. If you have a product you have designed for yourself and would like to sell it to a wider audience then please contact us. Our goal is to design hard to find parts, so Sim Racers can easily build custom projects that are unique but affordable. We currently supply parts, plans, build kits, 8020 cutting and parts lists. At the moment we do not distribute full sim rigs, we focus on supplying unique components. IF there is demand for full build kits we can research distribution of complete sim rigs. If you have ideas, what a dream sim rig should be, please feel free to make suggestions to inspire & challenge us... My Super Sport Series of DIY plans have been driven by ISRTV members making requests and suggestions. A special thank you goes to Dave Chalk for giving me the challenge of designing a 8020 sim rig with style! Send us an email at [email protected] if you have any questions! ISRTV has been good to us! Thank you, so much for your support. A very special thank you to Darin & John for hosting a community were Sim Racers can share ideas, thoughts & opinions. We have enjoyed being part of this Sim Racing Community. Steve & Calvin
  5. One of the members asked could I design a 8020 rig with style... Most 8020 rigs are made with lots of 90 degree angles, but by designing custom plates it's possible to create an 8020 rig with a bit more style. The custom plates can be made from mild steel, aluminium or stainless steel. Next I will work on the triple monitor stand.

    Simulation Modules?

Hello, I am building a rig with my father and he is over the moon about it. He keeps asking me about a module, and since this is my first time building one as well i'm confused. So basically he wants to build a box that adjusts to the car's movements, similar to how the D-BOX motion sim actuators work. However we're not so sure where to get a module or a control box that makes each actuator work and react to how the car in the simulator is acting. He bought four motors that would do the job to move the box around but now all we need is the control module box thingy to make them actually run If some more experienced rig makers could .help us out it would be . greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  7. Hi all, Have been having a read of the reviews trying to find which option is best for me (great forum and awesome YouTube channel by the way!) I haven't got a lot of room so something foldable is vital for me, so I have (I think) narrowed it down to two options. The next level wheel stand and use that with my ikea poang chair or the playseat challenge. Just wondering which you guys would go for and why? Oh and for some reason the playseat challenge is £50 less at the moment which also seems weird as it is a whole rig albeit a lawn chair version vs a wheel stand. But am interested to see what your thoughts are. Oh I have a T300 wheel set standard pedals (with conacle mod from the forum) and no shifter of that makes a difference. thanks for reading!
