  1. Hi guys ! I bought a Thrustmaster TMX 2 days ago and played with it during a day, everything was fine. Yesterday I didn't played with it but he stayed plugged (Into USB port + mains). Today I turned on my computer (With the Thrustmaster TMX plugged into the USB port and the alimentation cable plugged into the mains) and a very high-pitched noise came out from the interior of the wheel. I decided to unplug it for the day. This evening I tried to plug it again and the noise remains. It's loud and very annoying. I joined to this message a recording of the sound. Do you have any idea where this sound comes from ? Thanks ! tmx_weird_sound.mp3
  2. Just as the title said, even I already set the wheel to 1080 degrees, I still can't turn 540 degrees for each side. After turning the first 360 degrees, I can only turn about 160 degrees. I tried multiple times and it's just impossible for me to turn a full ONE AND A HALF CIRCLE for both side. So is it normal or not? This is not 1080 degrees in total. Also, sometimes my right paddle shifter is not clicky, and I need to push hard to activate the L2 button. Should I return it and get another one? (Not a native English speaker, plz don't get mad about the grammar)

  4. Good Morning, I have a Fanatec F1 steering wheel with a base v2.5. I have installed it and everything is correct, I open the Fanatec device configuration panel and everything seems to work correctly. The problem comes when I start any game. Testing Assetto Corsa, iRacing, Project Cars 2 and Automobilista it happens to me that, every so often (a few seconds) the shifting paddles make bad contact or do not work, and even if I press them the car neither shifts down or up, as if they did not work . And suddenly they work again after another few seconds. I might think that the paddle shifters do not make good contact or that the steering wheel is disconnected during those seconds, but that is not the case. First because the LEDs continue to work without problems, so it contact with the base and connected is. And second, and this is the weirdest thing of all, that if I open the Fanatec device configuration panel and leave it open while I start any game, it never fails and it is perfect. I have tried to uninstall and install drivers again, both version v289 and version v292 that are on the official website of Fanatec, and with both versions the same thing happens. Any ideas? Has something similar happened to anyone? Thanks in advance, Luis.

    TX right endstop seems squishy

Hello, I'm new here but this seems like a great place to get help. I recently bought a TX and I was aware that it had a calibration problem with slamming into the right endstop, but thanks to this forum I was able to fix that problem, and because I saw the solution I was confident in buying it in the as is condition. I'm only having one other problem right now, as you can see in the video, the right endstop seems squishy, likes perhaps the person that did own this wheel let it hit off the side a few too many times, and perhaps there was a key there that creates the endstop, but the key has been broken? I'm going to have it apart in the upcoming week so I can make a handbrake mod, so then would be a good time to fix it. Thanks in advance! EDIT: If you're here because you're having problems with the auto-calibration(initial startup) and it's slamming into the right endstop repeatedly, or many other auto-calibrating issues, try this tool And here's the video of what my wheel is doing:

TMX Not Connecting To Xbox One

My Thrustmaster TMX has recently stopped working on my xbox, i will plug it in and start up my xbox, it will work for about 20-40 seconds then it will just die and refuse to work. Any suggestions? im using the T3PA-Pro pedals and TMX, neither have been modified.
  7. I have a T500RS that appears to have a problem with the clutch pedal. This has been a very confusing & irritating situation as it seems to be a bit of an inconsistent problem. I first noticed that the clutch did not seem to be functioning reliably in PCars (on PS4). In the calibration screen of PCars when I depressed the pedals, the clutch would not register some of the time ... & eventually all the time. I stopped playing PCars for a number of months, but recently bought AC for PS4. To my surprise, the clutch seemed to work fine, but after a few weeks the clutch would occasionally start grinding in game as I changed gears. I'm guessing that the reason is does this is because the game reacts as though the clutch has not been depressed. It is gradually happening more & more, although at times, for a time, it still works OK. My assumption is that there is some mechanical problem with the clutch pedal. Is this a known problem? Is there any established fix? Thanks for any input!
  8. Hi, long story short. I bought a t300 used from amazon, couldn't get it to work and sent it back. Bought a t500rs instead, attached it to my desk with screws and was able to happily use it for a few days(without heavy use and the fans were always doing their job) then during a game the base turned off and stayed off. I tried all the USB's, removed all other hubs, tried with and without hubs, restarted, reinstalled drivers, read forums, searched on google and tried out stuff again and again. Then i tried another PC and both a Ps3 and Ps4 and couldn't get it work again that evening it happened. So i thought it was dead ...again! So since it's dead within such a short time frame they allow me to send it back and get my money back. BUT the next day after my PC and base were off for at least 12hours i started the pc and when i switched on the wheels power adapter(which i use for just one lamp also) the T500 came back to life and started calibrating! Now before ending its calibration and during the wheel turning all the way to one side(where it hits its limit) it turns off again! This is repeatable meaning everytime i power of my PC and restart it the base comes back to life but just for this short time frame. I'm fed up with Thrustmaster. There is always some problem! ..i just wanna race! Any ideas left or is it best to just accept it and send it back?
  9. Hey everyone. I am experiencing a problem with my latency in an iRacing server. The latency is normal until I enter a server then the ping is blood red. I only have the problem in the server because after I close the server, the latency is back to normal at 33ms. I have contacted my ISP and they said the connection is fine and the modem is fine. Any suggestions or solutions will be greatly appreciated.
