  1. Hi guys, I really dig mo86's version of the load cell mod as displayed here: … aaand I want to adapt it. And while I'm at it, i'd like to ditch the extra connector box, put the load cell amp directly into the T3PA case and connect it to the original brake wires to achive a clean overall appearance. The question is: Will it fit? I guess there should be enough room for that amp, but before taking my pedals apart I'd like to be sure about that. Unfortunately I was not able to find an image of an open T3PA case resp. google images is full of pro models. Can any of you guys help me out?
  2. Selling my Fanatec CSL Elite Starter Pack for PC/X-Box. It also has the load cell kit added. I bought this with the intent of getting more into iRacing, but just don't have the time. This was used only a few times and is in like new condition. There are no wear marks on it. I have all original paper work and the extra components and cables that came with it. I have all the original packaging as well, but that may add to the shipping costs if you want that. I paid $600 for all, selling for $475 $425. Buyer pays shipping. Located in Illinois
  3. ***SOLD*** This is a sale for my Fanatec Clubsport Pedals CSPv1 in silver anodised aluminium.I serviced these yesterday which included a lithium grease relube and replacement of the brake load cell elastomer with a brand new one. The current load cell works fine but I'll also include a spare new one. You'll notice that there's a small box fitted to the underside of the brake pedal. This is purely to keep the wires from the load cell neat and tidy, as (like a lot of people) I used the sensible trick of splicing a new load cell to the plug connectors of the old one. This saves spending £30 + shipping from Fanatac for a new load cell. If you have a new load cell with the proper plug on the end (you can sometimes find these on eBay for around £10-£12) then you can remove the box entirely as it's only held on with double-sided foam tape. The only other 'non-standard' bit on these pedals is the replacement of one of the tiny grub screws (that secures the load cell in place) with a small bolt. The ball head of my Allen key broke off in the original grub screw so I extracted the screw and drilled/retapped for a small bolt. You can see this in one of the photos.Anyway, everything is in full working order and includes all original foam packaging, inner and outer boxes, all cables, the aluminium pedal spacer blocks etc. As I said earlier, these have just been serviced and I'll include a spare load cell and a couple of used elastomers as spares. Condition is generally very good as you'll see from the photos. There are a couple of scratches on the heel plate and that's about it (and I've got no idea how they got there as I always used a heavy foam overlay in place and I always drive in socks).I'm looking for £80 + delivery, which will probably be around £15 to mainland UK using Parcelforce 48. Payment by PayPal Friends & Family gift to avoid fees please.Pics:
  4. I bought a few of these as spares for my Clubsport pedals but they are now surplus to requirements. They do not come with a plug on the end but you just cut your old non-functioning load cell off (leaving plenty of cable) and splice the wires from this new load cell onto the old ones. You don't even need to solder the wires - simply twisting them together and wrapping them in insulation tape works fine. I've been using this method with no issues for years. They work with CSP v1 & v2, but NOT v3 pedals. Fanatec want over €37 to send you one of these with the plug on the end, so you can save yourself a wedge of cash for the sake of a few minutes work. I'll sell these for £5 each including delivery in a padded jiffy bag with full printed instructions and colour coding provided. Payment would be by PayPal friends & family to avoid unnecessary charges. These are brand new and unused.

  6. I found there are boards like BU0836-LC that can work as a generic usb joystick and convert loadcell signals to computer. and I see there are cheap load cells for sale that can measure up to 50 kg, like this: ebay so, is it as simple as inserting the loadcell under my brake pedal.(maybe a think layer of metal to spread the force of the spring)? then map my new brake input in games.(so gas/clutch goes through wheel->usb, and brake goes through BU0836->USB). the wheel should still receive the potentiometer signal of the brake though, but input is not used in games. I have t3pa pro and the resistance of the factory mod feels okay to me. only thing I'm worried is inserting the loadcell would reduce the travel a bit. but seeing from the pictures those small loadcells are not thick. I'm a electrical engineer and have all the basic knowledge about circuit/chips, and soldering ability. the cost of board+loadcell is well under $50. plus I can add a button box later easily to BU0836-LC without much cost. Did I miss something? any other things need consider when adding load cell mod?
  7. Selling my Bodin Solutions BLC-T3PA mod for the Thrustmaster T3PA pedal set. Used for a season, then I got rid of my pedals. The item has been out of stock on John Bodin's website for a long time. This is a great mod, as the load cell is rock solid and won't go bad unlike the stock pots in the pedals. The feel is more of a race car non power assisted feel. Includes all original parts, instructions and 2 extra rubber stoppers to experiment with. Asking $75 shipped to all lower 48 states in the US. USA only. http://www.bodin-solutions.com/BLC-T3PA/p1644578_15489765.aspx
  8. I'm selling my Fanatec CSL Elite pedals with the load cell brake kit. 3 months old. Selling because I ordered V3 pedals. Link to eBay auction below. 2 days left. Thank you http://www.ebay.com/itm/262947193963?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2648
  9. So I picked up a really nice custom built rig for $100.00 on CL and it came with a Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S Wheel, V.1 Club Sport Pedals and a Buttkicker Gamer2. I sold off the Wheel since It's pretty much out of date and I already have 2 Thrustmasters a T300 & a TX. I ordered a CPX from Basheboards so I could try out the CSP V.1 pedals with my TX. I hooked it up yesterday and compared to my T3PA Pro and my T3PA pedals the difference is like night and day. I don't know if it's the load cell or just the pedals themselves but the braking is amazing. No more locking up and sliding off the road in Forza 6. I don't think I can ever go back to a Thrustmaster pedal again. There is not a single piece of plastic on these pedals they are amazing. I will eventually look in to getting some V3's
