  1. Hi, Just installed Richard Burns rally after many years and with my Fanatec Handbrake I sign it the axis in RBR to the handbrake but it's inverted. Please help, thanks!
  2. Hello All, I hope this post is in the correct section. I recently purchased a Thrustmaster TX Racing wheel with the T3PA Pedals and TH8A Shifter. I'm more interested in drifting with this wheel then racing in Forza Motorsport 7 or Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox One. I've searched around for a handbrake and seen both Thrustmasters and Fanatec's. Thrustmaster's Handbrake I really don't have a interest for and currently aiming towards purchasing the Fanatec ClubSport Handbrake. I searched around everywhere on whether this handbrake is compatible or not, and can't find any topic specific to the game and hardware I want to use. Will the Fanatec Handbrake work with the Thrustmaster setup I have or will I have to purchase extra Hardware? Thanks!
  3. First off I apologize if this topic has already been discussed on the forum but I'm kinda in panic mode. I have a Obutto Revolution chassis and I just took delivery of a Asus ROG Swift PG348Q curved Ultra wide monitor. I was under the impression it would be a standard Vesa mount however when you remove the stand there seems to be a big issue. Removing the stand basically leaves a hole the monitor. There are 4 little finish style screws that are in a pattern that would work on a mount but their just tiny finish screws. Beside that, the screws are inside the recessed arrea where the factory stand installs. Does anybody have any idea what I can do to get this monitor mounted to my chassis? I've done some online research but came up empty handed. Am I missing something here? I could really use some help..Thanks everybody!
  4. Hey all! I signed up here in the hopes that someone here might be able to help me out (and that I’m in the right section to get it). I just bought a used wheel from a charity site, a Thrustmaster Force Feedback USB NASCAR wheel and pedal set. Unfortunately when I got the item it was missing the cable that connects the pedal portion to the steering wheel portion. I don’t know the specific name for the cable but input looks almost like a telephone or ethernet jack. I have contacted Thrustmaster and several specialty sites that sell steering wheel setups and they all told me they don’t have the cable nor did they give me the specific name for the cable so I could track one down. I was wondering if anyone here might either have one of these cables they could sell me or perhaps know where I can get one online. I don’t know if by chance these wires are used on other products and therefore manufactured for individual sale but all my attempts searching only led me to a USB adapter that is no use to me. I know that I did’nt spend alot on this thing and that its a really old model but I can’t really afford the new models and would really like to be able to use this thing instead of it becoming a paper weight. Thanks in advance for any help that’s provided and hopefully someone here can help me out (fingers crossed).

    Thrustmaster T-150 Button issue

I have a Thrustmaster T-150 and I have used it since last July. I have got a problem where I press a button on the steering wheel and it mistakes it for another button. I sometimes have to turn the wheel to get windows or the game to recognize the correct button. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem or find a fix?
  6. Hi. Im Dezsni and I am making my own very simple dashboard for Project Cars 2 using an Arduino Uno and a small Nextion display. I have very little experience with Arduino or Nextion and I'm asking if any of you can help me get started with creating a dashboard. I have tried making it by myself, but I do not know how to start and how to receive information from PC2 and convert it to commands that the nextion display would understand. I cannot use simdash or any programs like that, I have to make everything from scratch and that's where the problems start, because of no experience and little arduino programming knowledge. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
  7. Hello all, so I am on the fence between these two rigs. I am fairly new to all of this, so from what I've heard, the ART is the newer model and a little sturdier. However, the PRO seems to have more features like a separate monitor stand, speaker mounts, and a built in cup holder. I like the idea of having the speaker mounts right next to my head like on the PRO. The ART seems to have a buttkicker mount under accessories while the PRO does not. Does this mean that you can't use a buttkicker or something similar with the PRO? Suggestions are welcome! Which one would I be better off getting? Thanks!
  8. Hey guys so the motor just went on my wheel last week. I was wondering if someone had a broken TX with a perfectly working motor? Thrustmaster won't get back to me for a motor or to get it fixed... Idk what to do.... SUCH A BAD COMPANY ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SIDE OF THINGS...

Thrustmaster T150 - Driver Installation Errors

Hi, not sure if you guys appreciate this sort of posting here, but I need some help for a weird issue. I recently obtained a T150 Force Feedback Racing Wheel and the product itself is fine. I however experience problems when attempting to install the drivers from Thrustmaster's website. I download the latest drivers setup, and then run the setup and about 10 seconds into it the window minimizes and I can't Alt+Tab back into it or open it from the taskbar. Stopping me from finishing the installation I've tried a lot of different things but this setup.exe does it without fail. I'm running Windows 10 Pro on a 64-bit machine if that helps. I've tried contacting support and I haven't got a single response in a week. I was very eager about trying out some sim-racing but this has been a total roadblock for me, any chance you guys know a workaround or solution of some sort? Thanks.
  10. hi guys, I have an issue that has me stumped. I have been trying to wire up a hand brake on my Logitech G27 by following a few guides like the one i have linked below: i have soldered the board twice and backpedaled out after the software driver failed to detect the controller correctly in windows. removing the mod restored the system to a working condition. One thing that i'm not entirely sure of is how the hand brake needs to get wired up on its side and I'm not finding many resources to guide me on that subject. I'm currently trying to use the led light switch that is on the hand brake. the switch is actuated when the brake is pulled to create a circuit. I connected the wires to opposing sides. I then ran one side of the switch to each solder point on the board outlined in the video above. here is a picture of the hand brake led light switch i tried to wire up for the mod. The brake is currently in a down position, however if pulled the screw makes contact with the other side of the switch completing the circuit. FYI, the hand brake I am trying to use was pulled out of a scrap yard from a Volvo s60. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  11. Hello everyone reading, I have owned my thrustmaster tmx for over a month now, but i've been noticing some technical problems with the force feed back function 1. when starting up the wheel, the thing shuts on and off 3 times to the left when calibrating 2.whenever i use the game controller set up and test out the forces, after 2-4 times the force feed back stops working, if i unplug and replug it just stops working as a whole, the wheel seems to still work, but the force feed back doesnt 3. In assetto It happens whenever the ffb (which im believing by this is a problem in the gears) feels very faint, but then it turns back on SOMETIMES with sudden jagged movement 4. ive been waiting a literal 2 weeks for a response from anyone, nobody knows what to do. 5.I tried the unplug both for 30 seconds along with holding the 4 (and the 2) button method 6. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver, it doesn't work, so that also makes me believe its the wheel itself, I dont know what part because I don't want to disassemble just yet If anyone knows what to do/buy/fix to help get my wheel to work please that would be grateful!
  12. the connetor on the end of the cable on my t3pa pros got chewed off and lost so now i can't play with my pedals does any one know what kind of connetor it is and where i can find one i know it's a Cat4 MMJ Connector Modular Plug; UTP Shielding; Cable Mount i just don't want to buy 100 cause where i found it is i can only buy a minimum of 100 which cost $69.00 i don't realy want to spend that amount of money on a little connetor and also does any one know if thrustmaster would send one

  15. Hi guys! I'm needing some help here, I saw a repaired csw v.2 base with v.2.5 board for sale, the price was fairly good and I'm thinking to get it. I live in Brazil and the Fanatec prices here are no good. Whats your opinions on this ~Frankeinstec~ v.2/2.5 base?? Should I get it?? Thanks for the help btw! EDIT: I currently have a g27 and there's a way to play with the csw base and g27 pedals and shifter? I'm thinking to unplug g27 motors and let them both connected to usb ports.
  16. Just got FANATEC Clubsport Pedals V3, trying to mount them to my GT Omega Pro racing rig. According to GT Omega's site, the pedal plate is supposed to be pre-drilled for FANATEC Clubsport Pedals. For the life of me, I can't find 4 holes on the pedal plate that line up with the holes on the Pedals. Am I only supposed to line up 2 holes, and use 2 nuts/bolts? Looking for someone with the rig and pedals that has experience with this, am I doing something wrong or just missing something? Thanks! Don Poussard

    4play racing cockpit

Hi guys, im really trying to figure out a way of getting a decent rig with the space i have. Im currently runjing the playseat challenge and it just isnt cutting it anymore. I need to be able to add hardware to it. I have been looking on ebay alot and have come across a rig made from 80/20 and looks like it should fit my criteria. The question is has anybody had any experience with 4play racing from the USA? If so could you let me know your thoughts on service and the product overall. Thanks guys in advance.
  20. I bought a whole simulator and everything was fine until the wheel base shut off in the middle of a race and it didn't have enough power to calibrate itself. But when it would calibrate it would be very slow and sluggish and I would have to help center it because it would act like it was not strong enough to center itself. When it would work it did not have any FFB and when I turned it all the way one way it would make a loud click noise and shut off. Today I noticed it feels like it is resisting to turn and it is making a quite clicking noise and it won't turn on. Thanks IMG_1728.MOV

    Upgrading Triple Monitors

Hey there guys. Long time reader/follower, 1st time questioner lol Am just looking for peoples input on a monitor upgrade I can't decide on. Any input would be appreciated. I have searched the forums, but can't find one relating to my question.. At the moment I am running triple 27 inch benq 60hz monitors http://www.benq.com.au/product/monitor/rl2755hm Nothing special by any means, but does the job well enough. And it's time for an upgrade!! I've convinced myself I need to go 144hz. HDMI input is a must, as my current GPU (GTX 970) has these. Plus I do a little console gaming here and there. I am thinking I should stick to 1920 x 1080 monitors to keep everything running well. I hear display port input is the best way to go, so I'm wanting that as well for future upgrading. I'm shying away from ultrawides, as I think one is not enough, and three I couldn't run.. I will need to mount them, so a vesa mount is a must too. I was planning on sticking with 27" monitors, but have found it hard to find one that is ticking all my boxes. I like this https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Monitors/25plus-inch/55506-I2777FQ?gclid=CIXgwI3I2tICFU0FKgoda1MFmA The bezels appear tiny, 5ms delay, but cannot seem to see hz? I found this https://www.pccasegear.com/products/36624/aoc-agon-ag322fcx-31-5in-freesync-curved-gaming-monitor, basically by accident while looking. Is upping to 31.5' worth it? Or am I just pushing them further away from me to end up with the same result? Does a curve help or hinder? Also I am assuming Freesync will do nothing with a nvidia card. I'm sorry if this is all over the place, I normally find all my questions answered without the need to post. So I'll summarize lol 1. Stick with 27' or go (lets say) 32' 2. Curved or flat? 3. Stick with 1920x1080? 4. Is these any good? https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Monitors/25plus-inch/55506-I2777FQ?gclid=CIXgwI3I2tICFU0FKgoda1MFmA https://www.pccasegear.com/products/36624/aoc-agon-ag322fcx-31-5in-freesync-curved-gaming-monitor 5. Any other monitor suggestions? 6. Am I just a fussy little shit? I should get over myself, and accept the fact I can't get what I want lol I should add, that I'm in Australia. So I think overseas purchases will kill me in postage, let alone returns!! Thanks guys and girls, I'll see you on the track. I'll be at the back lol
  22. Hello everyone, My Thrustmaster TMX seems like its getting no power from the wall. It was working fine earlier... I have had my Thrustmaster TMX for exactly a week now and it was working fine up until today. When I plug it into an outlet, absolutely nothing happens. No sounds, no lights, no boot up. Nothing. I have tried different outlets, different breakaway cables (one that I know works), different USB ports on my computer, and I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the firmware multiple times. It just seems like the TMX is completely dead and powerless. I should say that there were no strange noises or failures last time I used it. It just stopped working overnight. I was wondering if any of you have had similar issues with Thrustmaster products and whether or not you know a trick that can get the wheel to power up again. Sorry if my formatting is wrong, I made an account just to try and get some help. Thanks! Edit: I can hear a soft hum/buzz when it is plugged in if I rest my ear on the back of the base.

    TX Ferrari Italia Power Supply

Hi Everyone ! I just ordered a "Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458 Italia Edition" from amazon (US store). The problem is that it comes with a 100-125 V power cord and I need a 110V to 220V transformer ... My question is, does anyone know what is the power consumption (in Watts) of the wheel ? By the way, I just readed on amazon a reply to someone that lost his power cable that a 110V 300W power cable works on the steering wheel .. If anyone can confirm this, problem solved ! I would really appreciate your help guys. Sorry for my bad english. P.S. I'm from Chile and shipping from the US was by far my best option in terms of price and shipment. Nobody sells this product in my country ..

    New to iracing

I want to get into iracing but would like to know what I will need to get started and where to buy it.
  25. HI! I'm new to racing simulators in general but soon I am getting a new wheel, the Logitech G290, and I'm afraid if i were to play a sim like Euro Truck Sim there won't be enough buttons to map to the wheel forcing me to result to my keyboard which is inconvient due to where my keyboard is placed. I currently have this problem with the 458 thrustmaster. So then I had an idea where i could get a dirt cheap keyboard and map the buttons i can't map on the wheel to that. Only thing is I would like to make it look the part. I was thinking I could take of the keys and use some sort of button that would trigger one of the keys. If you don't understand me look at the picture I attached. (Sorry for the poor quality, it's of a youtube video. Also, I do not wish to have the e brake this man has on his keyboard.) HOWEVER, instead of the golden pins this guy uses I would like to solder wires to small switches that would turn on or off. (Lights for example) (http://www.amazon.co.uk/250V-125V-Position-Toggle-Switch/dp/B00BQH6OTM/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1458507002&sr=8-9&keywords=small+switch)
