    G29 Mod questions

Hey guys, first-time poster here, and I am looking to mod my G29 steering wheel with a real steering wheel and move all of the buttons to a button box. I am thinking that the red rotary dial on the G29 is a rotary encoder and is buttons 22 and 23. Can anyone confirm my assumption on this? And if that is correct does anyone have any information on what rotary encoder would be required to replace it and a wiring diagram for the board, as I cannot find any online? thanks for your time.

G29 uk plug in the rest of Europe

Hi! So, my patiance with ThrustMaster run out and i got tired of replacing T300 gtes for new ones that are always coming faulty ( 3 in a row already) and i'm thinking about buying a G29, that is the only option below 400 euros. ( T150 is also Thrustmaster, so no thanks ) I found a nice price, but my problem is that i'm in Portugal and the amazon uk G29 plug in a UK plug 230v triple pin and in Portugal is 220V double pin. Do i only need an adaptor or do i need a converter? Thanks in advance!
  6. I am looking to get started in sim racing, primarily iRacing. I am not worried about wanting to sell my wheel because I know I will use it as I play many other racing games. I am just wondering Which wheel I should purchase. Should I buy a cheaper beginner wheel such as the T150 or should I save up and purchase something like a T300 or even a fanatec? Thanks.
  7. Hi I'm looking to sell my Logitech G29 Wheel and Pedal. I bought the item in November 2017 and have kept it in great condition since. I switched the brake and clutch because the brake was too close to the accelerator and was causing knee strain (I used the wheel for mostly GT Sport and didn't need the clutch). I can switch it back to original positions if needed, it's quite easy to do so. I'm looking for $200 for the item and it comes in it's original packaging. Item is located Long Island, NY.

    Logitech G29/G920 Pedals

Selling my Logitech G29/G920 pedals. Only 3 months old. Selling because I have been using Fanatec ClubSport Pedals in place of these. Also compatible with the Logitech G27. Much stiffer brake pedal than the G27s. $80 + Shipping PM me if interested.
  9. Looking to buy a used/good conditon G27 or G29 Wheel. If you have pedals and shifter to that would be great but mostly just looking for the wheel. My force feedback on my old one died so looking for a replacement.
  10. I'm looking to purchase a broken Logitech G29 to harvest the main wheel board and/or buttons from. Ideally the wheel should be able to be recognized by software, but I don't care about any physical damage to the wheel, pedals, base or a few buttons. If the gears are stripped or the motors are toast on your G29, then I want to buy it from you!
  11. Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum (Literally just created my account), I'm in the market looking to get my first racing wheel for my PC setup(So far I only play with a Xbox 360 Controller), I'm pretty much decided for the Logitech G29 with the Shifter, right now they are at a good price and I cant afford a Thrustmaster T300. My favorite games are F1 2017 and Dirt Rally, I was watching the reviews and there seems to be no problem with the F1 game however in the youtube video review they mentioned that the clutch was not recognized by the Dirt Rally game in PC. I know the video review is old so my question is if that problem has been fixed after the last couple of years. I know I could use the Shifter without the clutch but I feel there's no point doing so if what I want is the most realistic experience I can get. If the problem hasn't been fixed I'd consider getting the wheel without the shifter instead. tl:dr. Has the problem with the G29 clutch on the DIRT RALLY game for PC been fixed since the game and wheel was launched in 2015 Thanks in advanced. I look forward to being part of this community.

    G29 or T150??

Hi all, first timer here! Just getting into PS4 wheels (my Driving Force Pro and GT aren't compatible), torn between Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T150. Was able to pick up G29 for $200 recently, but also have the option of getting T150 for $100 (possibly upgrading to T3PA pedals for a $200 total) Looking for some basic use - causal gameplay - without getting too fancy. So, experts, given the choice between the 2 setups at the same price point, which would you choose? Why? Thanks for the help!
  14. Looking to trade my TX 458 Italia Edition for a T300 or G29. I got a PS4 since I my wheel purchase and looking for something that will work with that and my current PC setup. Thanks

    should i buy a g29?

Hi guys i am looking forward to buying a steering wheel for my pc and ps4. So since, I live in wonderful country the g29 is only priced at $217 BRAND NEW!!! and the shifter is about $40 The thurstmaster wheels are really expensive in my area the t300rs is priced at $500 so i am kinda stuck should i go for the g29? EDIT: I found a thrustmaster t500rs for $300 should i get that or there is an t150 pro (includes t3pa pedals set) for $274
  16. Selling the rest of my 1440p/VR gaming rig to help fund some newer sim racing gear. What's for sale:Antec 302 caseAsus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 motherboardAMD FX8350 CPU with cooler master hyper 212 coolerG.Skill Ripjaws 8gb RAMMSI Seahawk water cooled GTX 1070 (cool and quiet beast)All that is needed for this system to be complete is a hard drive, a power supply and a monitor. I can supply a generic keyboard and mouse if neededIt's all been used for about 6 months, and I haven't really overclocked anything. It actually ran very solid before I got to OC it and after testing in games there was no apparent reason to change anything. Plus I really like my computers to be as cool (quiet) as possible. Asking $550obo for everything or trade for a wheel/pedal setup (plus cash if necessary). I used to run a g27 a while back but had to get rid of it. Now that I have the Vive and a beefy PC, I'm looking to get back into racing. Something tells me the 16 year old Logitech Formula Force GP (pretty sure its logitech's first FFB wheel) I dug out of my "way back" bin is a little out-dated. Contact me with any questions or to make an offer

    G29 vs t150 setup

Hey guys, I'm here new to the forums but have been watching the YouTube channel for a little while. Anyway, for quite a while I've been wanting to get a wheel, peddle and shifter setup for playing games such as ETS (euro truck simulator), ATS (American truck simulator) and some other more racing oriented games. I don't want to spend heaps but I still want it to be decent quality. From my research I have come up with the g29 and t150 (like many do). I really want to have the clutch and gear shifter so if I got the t150, I would have to get the t3pa pedals and th8a shifter. Here's what I need help with, I found the g29 and shifter for $350 and the t150 pro (t150 plus t3pa peddles) for $320 and th8a for $210. These prices are all in AUD (Australian dollar). One advantage of going with the t150 option is that it would allow me to just buy a new wheel and keep the pedals and shifter if I really got in to this in the future I decided I needed an upgrade. So in summary: G29 + shifter = 350 t150 + t3pa + th8a = 530 Which way would you recommend going? The primary purpose is for truck driving simulators (such as ETS and ATS) but also with some car racing games? Thanks in advance, CrazyCoconut
  18. I am new to Sim Racing and I wanted to buy my first racing wheel. I was very confused between the Logitech G29 and the Thrustmaster T150 as I am looking to play on both PS4 and PC. Both of them are available to me at the same price ($299) as I live in India. So at the same price, which according to you is the better option?? I was leaning more towards the thrustmaster as it has great reviews everywhere. Thanks!
  19. This Logitech G29 was only used at the iRace4Life event this year and by another iRacer for a short time. As you will see it is in great condition but has a very small scuff on the base. Everything is in great working order. Price is $250.00 and I will cover ground shipping costs but if you would like faster shipping that would have to be covered by the buyer.
  20. Hello one and ALL! After a bit of time with my G27 and then the G29, I've enjoyed the extra control on racing games. But after building a new computer and trying better sims, and also getting the htc VIVE I realized that the G29 (great that it is) just could not cut it in VR. I've raced cars and it just felt wrong with the headset on. SO I started saving and have moved everything to Fanatec Clubsport. It's been the best move I've made, next to marrying my beautiful wife who "allowed" me to buy these I will have questions as I get started with regards to software, tips and tricks etc as I go, so will keep those in this thread if I can't find a more specific thread. I will do my best to help others and really appreciate any help you guys give. I've read through quite a few posts on here and it seems to be a great community Here are some specs for you guys that like to know that kind of thing, and also for reference as I ask questions.
