  1. Up for sale: My custom made rig, everything is designed and made by me and i decided to put it up for sale since i rarely use it. The actuators are made with teknic clearpath SERVO motors. Instead of stepper motor these are virtually silent much like frex Hyperaxis. The servo drives a lead ballscrew and has a CUI sensor on the axle with a 12bit resolution (4096steps) This results in +300mm/s under load. SCN5 underload is maybe 40mm/s. Each actuator should be capable of 700lbs weight this is however not tested. Max Travel distance is 175mm. Speeds are dialed down to about 25% at the moment this is way fast already. However these have a much larger travel distance and are quicker aswell. Controller is custom made with Atmel Microchip, i takes 1 usb port and will be configured as a std COM port. This works great with Simtools. Pedals are also custom made much like heusinkveld pedals. all 3 have load sensors. These connect to a also custom made Atmel Microchip board which connect with usb and will be seen as a std USB game controller interface. Small MIGE comes with sparco steering wheel and granite device controller. Sparco Seat is the medium.. forgot the model number i can look it up. Comes with custom made sequential shifter and 3d printed pedal shifter behind the sparco. These all connect to the same board as the pedals. So all just takes 1 usb port. Comes with button box aswell. Who ever is interested in this should be fairly handy and be willing to take on a project, since it is all custom made you will have no manufacturer support as you would have maybe with other products. However i will help with whatever you need. Ill provided schematics and source code for all the hardware and software. Also all FUSION360 files can be included. This motion rig can also probably made work with the AMC1280USB module. This is located in South Florida 34986. No shipping. But im willing to drive a reasonable distance for the right buyer. Actuators and Seat are sold open for reasonable offers. Summary: 80/20 Rig Sparco Seat 4xActuators 1xActuator controller usb interface + Powersupply 1xSmall Mige 1xGranite Device controller + PowerSupply 1x Throttle, Brake, Clutch Pedals + Usb interface 1x Sequatial Shifter 1x Sparco Wheel with custom made quick release 3x Quick release modules for other wheels 1x Button Box on side of rig More pictures and info available on request. 2. This is a Drs 13 simulator by DEM racing simulators. I have orderd it in January and I Sent my steering system to them which is a osw system with small mige motor. It will be shipped to me on Monday or Tuesday and should arrive later in the week. They have kept me updated and sent pictures and even video of the pedal plate which moves forward and back with a press of a button to adjust for the different height people because seat is fixed to the aluminium frame. Im very excited to be able to drive it and take it for a spin. Anyone interested if I make a video with the cockpit and show it in detail. If you have any questions you can post them below.

  5. Hi all I am looking to customise my Thrustmaster T150 anyone know what I can do I've had the wheel for a year and want it to look more like the AMG GT3 Wheel. I was thinking of removing the top and bottom of the wheel and just having the sides only
  6. Im seeing if I can get some interest in these racing/flight/space sim switch and button panels. They are made from arcade grade buttons and are detected on PC as a generic USB game controller. I made one for myself and a few extra for friends and family. I tested and used them with games such as Euro Truck 2 and space sims such as E:D and SC. They should work with any racing game that allows custom input from controllers and what not. Here is a link to the eBay (Only sending to Australia ATM but might be ITNL in the future) page where I am selling mine for $75 if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Custom-LED-Switch-Button-Panel-Box-PC-USB-Flight-Racing-Space-Simulator-Game-A-/322718054278?hash=item4b237eb786:g:c28AAOSwx3NZYy3q And some pictures:
  7. Hi everyone, I have figured out how to build custom steering wheels that connect to your Thrustmaster wheel base and works with the Xbox One and PS4. You simply connect it to the wheel base like a normal thrustmaster wheel. I am going to start making fully custom wheels for people. These wheels will be designed to fit your needs. The only requirements are that the wheels cannot have rotary encoders due to the wheel base not being able to recognize them, console users need to have at least 10 buttons, and there is a max of 13 buttons for console and pc users. If you are interested send me a private message and we can get started on designing and building a wheel that suits you.
  8. Hi there, so I got the bug for designing stuff for sim racing, I previously made a formula style rim. This rim was great apart from one thing, the paddles! They had no feeling so I started looking for some other solutions but couldn't find anything I wanted or if I could they were too expensive so I decided to design my own. My background, I've been sim racing for around 5 years before that I did some karting and now my day job is working for a Porsche Specialist on the race cars that race in the carrera cup GB championship. i wanted the paddle to feel as much like the cup car shifter mechanism as I could so I found out the switches I needed to use and started designing. this is what I came up with, they are 3D printed in carbon infilled plastic (around 20% carbon) this makes them very strong with negligible flex. As of yet they haven't been fitted to a steering wheel but will be done next month as I'm busy for a couple of weeks. I'll update if anyone's interested.
  9. Dont hate me.. I combined the two! Does this make my sim games feel arcadie? lol. It had to fit the theme of the room. And it's far enough along to call "done". But there are a lot more gauges and LED indicators I would like to install. I made a video of it in its current state and would like to share it. I have lots of photos as well, of the build process.. There is a thread "Hydro Thunder sim Cockpit, the build thread". But it has been Archived and closed? So I'll get to the build photos later but for now here is my custom arcade racing machine in its current state . Its all Fanatec controls.. CSR wheel and Clubsport pedals and shifter. My shifter is the H shift only version. The switchable unit was 2 month backorder when I bought it over a year ago. But I love in nonetheless. My button controls are read by a Symprojects JC32 and my gauge control is Symprojects ProGauge. Their products are awesome. And have great support.

    My sim - THE WHALE

This Project is currently on Hold for a few months. It is roughly half complete. Everything was built using hand power tools. Most materials were cheap, excluding plexiglass and vinyls. I'm choosing the VR route, so triples won't apply for my rig. Not getting into details this time around ,but stay posted. PS: Do you like my plexiglass Air foil? Its connected to my G29 brake pedal. Works as a brake light It Glows Red, or any other color programmed.
  13. Hi Guys, I wanted to share the pedals I recently modified from the T300. I was looking for a better option than the T300 pedals for 2 reasons, the first one is that the T300 are not the best and the second one because I have an F1 cockpit as a rig and the position I had them in was not the best. There are not many options in the market that could fit into my needs (price, customization, size) but the best one I found was the Real Gear GT pro pedals from Ricmotech but I have a PS4 at the moment and those work on PC only so that was out of the picture. I started looking for parts online and found similar ones to the Real Gear so I decided to modify my T300 pedals. Here are some of the pictures: The T300 pedals were very high so my feet could barely fit inside the cockpit and my legs would get tired very fast. The main parts for the assmebly Slave cylinder connected, completing the brake pedal assembly Took apart the T300 to use the electronics (Potentiometers). Used a small aluminum piece to hold each potentiometer The final assembly Brake Mechanism Here is a video on the pedals and the process:

Vesa mount for 1" square tubing

Anyone know of Vesa mount/bracket that will allow me to mount a computer monitor onto 1" (or larger) square tubing? I'm looking to build my own budget monitor floor stand after looking around for anything that's reasonable and concluded that the best way is to build one yourself. The simplest way is by using http://amzn.to/2jJ4BpK which can be easily put together. Any suggestion the mount a 32" BenQ ultrawide will be much appreciated.
