I would like to see a possibility to control the brake bias by a slider control. I am using a simple Thrustmaster joystick as handbrake in other SIM-s (Dirt Rally). This joystick has a functional slider which could be ideally used to adjust the brake bias in-game. That would be much more realistic and practical with less possibility for errors then having to press 3 arrow keys for each bias change while driving F1 2015. If this possibility already exists please let me know how to map it. Thanks
Hello, there! I am building my own steering wheel with force feedback. I've planned out most of the setup, but there are a few things that I don't know for sure what are better options. One of them is motor. Since I will use gear to attach wheel to the motor, I'll need the mottor to be able to turn faster by itself than it's supposed to turn wheel(the ratio will be around 2:1 - motor turns 2x faster than wheel-, but I can still adjust this). What I need to know is: what kind of motor will work. I assume that 12V motor is enaugh? But what other specifications? What speed, what torque, what else parameters? Thanks!
I recently watched your review of Ride. Darin talked briefly about using a controller with Motorcycle games. I love Motorcycles but have held off because I hate using the controller and essentially cannot control the bike with the sticks. The PS4 controller has gyro which I used when I first got Project Cars and actually works quite well. My question is how can you determine which games incorporate use of the gyro functionality before buying or trying out the game. I have searched for this and even asked reps at GameStop and no one seems to know. This functionality would work quite well with Motorcycle games. Thanks.
