Hi Guys, I have just noticed that my T3PA pedals have become detached from my T500RS wheel base, the problem is the cable has become detached from the rj11/rj12 connector. The problem I am having is I do not know what type of connect I need it looks like either an RJ11 or RJ12 with an offset lug, I live in the UK and I cannot find any that are compatible from looking at ebay/amazon etc.. I did order some that looked identical on the Internet the details can be found below (however these do not fit in the port on the wheel base) Manufacturer Code: 940-SP-3066-OST Manufacturer: Stewart Connector Plug, MMJ, 6WAY Website: http://uk.farnell.com/browse-for-products Could anyone please help with this and the PIN out configuration!! Any help would be very much appreciated Kind Regards Rambomonkey
Hi, I wondered if any other users were using 'raw' analogue signals from Fanatec pedals rather than using the USB interface adaptor that comes with the pedals? We're building an 'engineering' driving simulator at the University of Lincoln that will be using its own interface system and have asked Fanatec for detail of the pin-outs on the RJ12 connectors for each potentiometer/load-cell pedal unit but we have been told they can't let us have that information. Probably commercially sensitive information or something (even though I did offer to agree to Non-Disclosure agreements if required) but still a bit disappointing in terms of customer support. We can probably work out which pin does what eventually anyway by building an RJ12 break-out box and monitoring the signals on an oscilloscope before they go into the USB interface adaptor but I wondered if anyone had already done that work and were willing to share, just to save us some time and effort? Thanks in advance for any information you may have.
