  1. I need some help or advice or something. I use a Thrustmaster TS-XW, I’m still somewhat new to sim racing, so far I’ve mainly been playing rally games because I can’t feel oversteer in my wheel in road races. ive been attempting to play Project Cars 2 (on Xbox Series X) and here are my settings: flavour: Raw Gain:100 volume:55 Tone:55 Fx:60 ive tried for hours and hours to tweak the settings to help with this absent feeling or tire slip but it seems like nothing makes a difference. I got these settings from a guy on YouTube who uses a t300 and the raw flavour and he says it works very well for him but not so much for me. it’s my understanding that the wheel is supposed to go light when the rear tires lose traction, but I literally don’t feel it at all, it just stays exactly the same weight for me no matter what settings I use. if anything the wheel just feels heavier because it’s trying to turn in the direction of the cars movement, if I let go of the wheel it snaps very quickly to the right like it’s counter steering itself. The end result of this is that the only way I know when to counter steer is by visual and auditory cues, I have no Information from the wheel to go off of and it just kinda ruins the game for me because I catch slides way too late and spin out and it’s just frustrating and not enjoyable to play PC2 for this reason. I dont use any assists. I’m sorry for the long post but I feel like elaborating fully can help people leave better responses. also, my FFB isn’t clipping, I’ve watched the telemetry to make sure it’s not. TLDR; I can’t feel tire slip in my wheel no matter what settings I use, the wheel doesnt get lighter when I lose traction, it just stays the same weight and means that I can’t catch slides at all. thanks in advance for any responses.

    FS - T300 Parts

Thrustmaster T300rs parts for anyone who needs them. I would prefer to sell everything together. A few years ago I was experiencing motor problems and I tried fixing it, but then the project got pushed to the side. I went as far as opening the motor casing, and was unable to find a replacement motor at the time. I thought about pulling a motor from a TX base I have and put the T300 back together (or merging the electronics somehow) but I have moved on from that idea. I'm hoping this can help rescue someone's base that may need the power supply, original power cord, belts - etc. Asking $40 - Plus $5 - $20 shipping depending on location. I don't have an official weight yet but from the specs online I think the base is 11 lbs. US only. (Sorry)

  9. Hey all,I recorded this video a few weeks ago and have only made it public now because I wanted to thoroughly test the wheel and make sure there are no issues with it. This is actually my second TGT, it's a warranty replacement for the first one that died after developing this 'clickiness'. This TGT is now out of warranty. I imagine there are more of you out there with this problem, so I decided to try and fix it myself and make a video tutorial out of it. I've made it through a few RaceOnOZ ACC races (90 min enduro, 2 x 30 min races), a bunch of practice and 8 stages of Dirt Rally 2. Good news is that it's completely quiet, and the issues I had with it being loud and clicky are gone. Please read the text under the video before attempting this upgrade / fix.DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES YOU MAY INCUR TO YOURSELF, OTHERS, YOUR PROPERTY OR YOUR THRUSTMASTER T-GT IF YOU MODIFY IT. YOU WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY BY ATTEMPTING TO MODIFY YOUR THRUSTMASTER T-GT. THIS VIDEO IS FOR DEMONSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN NO WAY AN ENDORSEMENT TO FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE IN THIS VIDEO.My Thrustmaster T-GT is a great wheel base, however it's recently gotten very noisy. It sounded like the cooling fan was clicking, so I decided to open it up and do something about it as it was out of warranty. This is actually my second wheel base, the first one had to go back under warranty when it stopped working after developing this clicking.Big thanks to Sim Racing Garage's original review of the T-GT, only through that video did I have any idea of how to open the wheel base up. It is linked here: The fan I use to replace the cooling fan in the video is the Noctua NF A4x20 5V, the product page of which is here:https://noctua.at/en/nf-a4x20-5v
  10. I am an absolute beginner on wheels, I have been playing on controller for a while but want a better experience. Looking for something like a CSL elite or an T300. I have PS4. Hope you can help guys :3
  11. *Found* I am looking for a metal Thrustmaster rim/wheel adapter, 70mm. This will be used to attach a larger (probably 320mm) rim to my T300 hub/button pad. I have attached a few photos from an ebay listing where I could buy it but would be coming from China and who knows how long that would take at this point, given the current Covid situation.

  18. Hey guys, I got a brand new TS-PC which I bought off amazon. It has circa 2 hours of use (one-time) on it. I have all of the original parts, some of the original packaging (not the outside but everything that came inside). I'm located Oregon,USA and I'm asking $400 + shipping. The reason for selling it is that I was getting into sim-racing but then ended up getting a girlfriend instead...
  19. Hello! Im located in US West Coast. Prefer to keep it within the country. Anyways im selling my TS-PC racer and pedals. I have the yellow conical brake mod from BBJ sim racing (https://bbjsimracing.com/brake-mods) on the T3PA-Pro pedals. Wheel and wheel base work like new, the sticker over the dial switch fell off a while back, other than that everything is there. Purchased the wheel base from Amazon with what I believe is a 4 year warranty on the wheel base. I dont think that I can transfer it directly, but if you have issues ill work with you to get it sent in and fixed. Its a really reliable wheel base, from my experience and from what ive read elsewhere so you in an likelihood wont have issues. Asking $450 for the set. Im working on getting pictures for it. Please let me know if you have any questions!

  21. Hello and hi from germany! First post here, and what's better to introduce myself than showing my latest creation - a TM F1 Addon wheel with some small modifications mad by myself. My name is Pierre, i am 46 years old from germany. Startet simracing in 1999 with Grand Prix Legends and a gamepad, followed by a Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel, which a had for years. Did a break from simracing for a few years bacause of the reallife.exe, but was addicted immediately again in 2017 when i had the change to try a friends T300 and Assetto Corsa on PS4. You can imagine the "slap in your face" when the Logitech Formula Force was the last wheel you driven! As i had a better job, my own T300 was delivered a week later, followed by T3PA-PRO pedals and TH8A shifter and a Playseat Alcantara. Then i startet to built the first things by myself, replaced the wheel rim on my T300, built my own buttonbox and a boost controller. Last year i built my own aluminuim rig with a race seat and purchased a Samsung O+ WMR. In the moment an AMG GT3 wheel for ACC is work in progress, the Williams-BMW-F1 wheel is my latest finished project: The project startet with a broken (literally) F1 addon wheel, which i got as a bargain on ebay. I saw the SIMR-F1 before and the mods made with them here on ISRTV, and the idea was born to create a F1 wheel for myself. But not Ferrari style (what everyone did), i wanted to make something that looks like a Williams-BMW-F1 wheel, because i liked the look of the gold carbon fiber and the blue handles. This is the result: The goal was the look of a Williams-BMW wheel with all what is needed for Assetta Corsa and Automobilista. Every knob and button should work on PC, but still PS4 compatible. Including the SIMR-F1 enclosure was the easiest part of the story, finding the correct places for the CTS rotarys and the rotary switches was much harder. For PS4 compatibility the Thrustmaster board had to stay inside, and it was a hard job to include all the wires, switches and rotarys without getting an electrical problem. But it worked pretty well, and averything is working as planed. The carbon look is made by a friend in watertransfer with 2K clearcoat on top. Handles are wrapped in blue alcantara, magnetic shifter mod by 3DRAP.it (great!) with carbon fiber paddles. The coiled USB-cable is removable for PS4 use, but needed for full functionality on PC. Williams-F1 stickers by a simracing friend, and the button stickers a custom made by Paul of simstickers.co.uk. Feautures: - PC and PS4 compatible - 2 rotary switches, - 6 rotary encoder, - 34 push button functions to assign - fully working SIMR-F1 display on PC So, i hope you like it, comments or questions very welcome. As said, i am from germany, so english is'nt my first language and everything is understandable. Best wishes, Pierre.
