  1. Hello fellow sim racers! Today I have decided to start a thread about a project I recently completed as I believe some Thrustmaster wheel owners may be interested. This is a button plate for the T500 wheel base that uses an Arduino board and sketch to emulate the original T500 GT rim. This means the button plate is recognized by the T500 base as the original rim, so console compatibility is maintained. There is also no need for an external USB as the Arduino is powered by the wheelbase. I was turned on to this project when I came across a blog/tutorial written by Taras from rr-m.org. Taras built a similar console compatible button plate using an Arduino board for the TX wheelbase. He has now also added a blog post for the T500 rim emulation since we where able to confirm that we in fact have a working sketch. Taras should be given full credit for all of the software, sketch writing and wiring diagrams for both the TX and T500 emulations. This was my first time using Arduino so his knowledge was definitely needed for my project to be a success. In his blogs (linked below) you will find all of the necessary information to perform this project yourself, including the Arduino Sketches and wiring diagrams. I have included some pics of my button plate project as well as the YouTube video I upload showing my button plate working on both PS3 and in the control panel. Hopefully Taras will be joining isrtv and posting here about his TX project as well. The button plate I have made now is a very simple and plain design using an Arduino Uno R3, once I replace the 350mm rim with a suede 320mm rim I will make a much nicer button plate using an Arduino Nano. I hope you guys enjoy and please feel free to ask any questions or post any comments you may have, I always like to get feedback Edit: The TX emulation sketch is now confirmed to function with the T300 base. This sketch can be found and downloaded from Taras' blog part 3 in the link below. 2. Hello and hi from germany! First post here, and what's better to introduce myself than showing my latest creation - a TM F1 Addon wheel with some small modifications mad by myself. My name is Pierre, i am 46 years old from germany. Startet simracing in 1999 with Grand Prix Legends and a gamepad, followed by a Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel, which a had for years. Did a break from simracing for a few years bacause of the reallife.exe, but was addicted immediately again in 2017 when i had the change to try a friends T300 and Assetto Corsa on PS4. You can imagine the "slap in your face" when the Logitech Formula Force was the last wheel you driven! As i had a better job, my own T300 was delivered a week later, followed by T3PA-PRO pedals and TH8A shifter and a Playseat Alcantara. Then i startet to built the first things by myself, replaced the wheel rim on my T300, built my own buttonbox and a boost controller. Last year i built my own aluminuim rig with a race seat and purchased a Samsung O+ WMR. In the moment an AMG GT3 wheel for ACC is work in progress, the Williams-BMW-F1 wheel is my latest finished project: The project startet with a broken (literally) F1 addon wheel, which i got as a bargain on ebay. I saw the SIMR-F1 before and the mods made with them here on ISRTV, and the idea was born to create a F1 wheel for myself. But not Ferrari style (what everyone did), i wanted to make something that looks like a Williams-BMW-F1 wheel, because i liked the look of the gold carbon fiber and the blue handles. This is the result: The goal was the look of a Williams-BMW wheel with all what is needed for Assetta Corsa and Automobilista. Every knob and button should work on PC, but still PS4 compatible. Including the SIMR-F1 enclosure was the easiest part of the story, finding the correct places for the CTS rotarys and the rotary switches was much harder. For PS4 compatibility the Thrustmaster board had to stay inside, and it was a hard job to include all the wires, switches and rotarys without getting an electrical problem. But it worked pretty well, and averything is working as planed. The carbon look is made by a friend in watertransfer with 2K clearcoat on top. Handles are wrapped in blue alcantara, magnetic shifter mod by 3DRAP.it (great!) with carbon fiber paddles. The coiled USB-cable is removable for PS4 use, but needed for full functionality on PC. Williams-F1 stickers by a simracing friend, and the button stickers a custom made by Paul of simstickers.co.uk. Feautures: - PC and PS4 compatible - 2 rotary switches, - 6 rotary encoder, - 34 push button functions to assign - fully working SIMR-F1 display on PC So, i hope you like it, comments or questions very welcome. As said, i am from germany, so english is'nt my first language and everything is understandable. Best wishes, Pierre.
  3. Hello, I am fishing for a TX Leather rim only with black buttons. I am not a big fan of the bright buttons and would prefer the rim with the black "xbox" buttons. I have contacted Thrustmaster a few months back and they will not sell the rim with black buttons or the buttons individually. If anyone has this rim in good condition and willing to let it go for a reasonable price, please contact me!! Alternatively - Does anyone know if there are simple button / switch boot replacements for this rim? Thanks for the help!!

  15. I bought this virtual GT Racing simulator which comes with a G25 wheel and I want to replace it with a thrustmaster t300rs but it needs an extender for the wheel hub. It came with an extender for the G25 but that doesn't work for me. I saw a post from a member who actually made one. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Below is a picture of my current wheel hub for the G25 it's made of aluminum. And the other picture is what I found on this site from a member and looking for a download for 3D printer or if someone can make it I will pay them thanks again
  16. 17. Hello All, I hope this post is in the correct section. I recently purchased a Thrustmaster TX Racing wheel with the T3PA Pedals and TH8A Shifter. I'm more interested in drifting with this wheel then racing in Forza Motorsport 7 or Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox One. I've searched around for a handbrake and seen both Thrustmasters and Fanatec's. Thrustmaster's Handbrake I really don't have a interest for and currently aiming towards purchasing the Fanatec ClubSport Handbrake. I searched around everywhere on whether this handbrake is compatible or not, and can't find any topic specific to the game and hardware I want to use. Will the Fanatec Handbrake work with the Thrustmaster setup I have or will I have to purchase extra Hardware? Thanks!
  18. I have the F1 rim that came with the ts-pc racer. I would like to trade straight up if possible for the Ferrari 488 challenge rim or a sparco rim I’m open to others as well. Also willing to sell for $150. I’m in the USA. Let me know what you have. I added a picture of the rim. It’s in perfect condition as I just got the setup today 7/30/18. Thanks for looking. Any questions feel free to ask. This is what I have. I’ve also attached images of what I’m looking for.
  19. For Sale - Thrustmaster T300RS with Cooling Mods. Purchased this wheel in 2018 and based on other reviews, decided to install cooling mods. I have close to $100 in extra's. Asking $275 obo based on condition and extra's. I can ship Fed-Ex ground or UPS. Shipping cost calculated when we determine where its going. Insurance will be added to the shipment to protect both parties. I also have Thrustmaster T3PA Pro pedals and a 3 Screen HP Monitor Setup also for sale in different post if interested. 24. Hi guys, Not sure if this is the correct section I should be posting this. I have a Thrustmaster T300RS with pro pedals I use on PS4 and am thinking about upgrading the pedals to Clubsport V3’s. My question is, has anyone done this using the Basherboards CPX adaptor(which is no longer being made and very hard to find these days) or the Cronusmax Drivehub (which seems readily available) Which adaptor is the better way to do it? I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Drivehub. The one that concerns me the most is that I’ve read a few people saying that the Drivehub uses Logitech mapping and will make the thrustmaster or Fanatec or wathever attached to it feel like a Logitech G29 Wheel?! My other (much more expensive) option is to buy the CSL elite base made for PS4 Cheers for any help/advice
