Betta Lines Takes a Look at F1 2014

A little while ago, we showed you a video from Betta Lines’ YouTube channel, showing off RaceRoom Racing Experience with the Oculus Rift. Now, he has released a new video, giving us a first look at gameplay for F1 2014.

Betta Lines gives his impressions on the title, which he was able to get early access to. He chose to take Felipe Massa’s Williams FW36 around the Red Bull Ring, which is a new addition to this year’s F1 calendar. He talked about how he felt the incorporation of the wealth of rules changes likely resulted in minimal graphics and physics enhancements. That’s not to say it doesn’t look good, it just hasn’t been improved on that much.

He also states that it is a little more challenging than F1 2013, due to the nature of the new cars, and the tendency to spin the rear tires. It may be a little more appealing for people who wants a little more challenge, but thought F1 2013 was too easy.

F1 2014 will be released October 17th in Europe and the 21st in North America. It will be for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Those of you looking to get your next gen Formula One fix will look to Spring 2015, when a title is planned for release for the PS4 and Xbox One.
