Kunos Reveal Assetto Corsa Console Patch Details

Kunos Simulazioni have caught more than a little flak for their console implementation recently. The studio had hinted at a September fix for several issues with the title. To that end, Kunos have now revealed their Assetto Corsa console patch details. The list of fixes and improvements will be a welcome sight for players that were disappointed with the game on its release. On its launch, players were confronted with some major issues in the game, primarily consisting of screen tearing and laggy frame-rates. Happily for us, these two issues are included in the list of improvements! It is great to see that Kunos is listening to their customer base and acting directly on their feedback. Case in point, the tweaking of the game’s AI strength, which now is more representative of the PC version of the game.

Assetto Corsa Tripl3 Pack

Although the game suffered several delays prior to its release and subsequently the almost inevitable issues that came with it, the team at Kunos Simulazioni are sending out a reassuring vibe with this first console patch. Sure, there are probably other things that players would like to see changed. More patches are more than likely going to appear on a semi-regular basis. The translation from PC to console has not been a smooth one, as it stands, the game is not on a par with its PC counterpart but given a little time, Kunos will iron out the wrinkles and mould the game into a go-to console racing simulation!
