Assetto Corsa Console Update – Black Cat County & Maserati Levante

The upcoming Assetto Corsa console update will contain two nice freebies, the ‘Black Cat County’ road course and the newest Italian SUV, the Maserati Levante. Black Cat County will be drivable in three differing layouts; short, intermediate and long. The shortest course will take around three minutes to complete. The topography of the Black Cat County course is reminiscent of some of the scenery one would expect to see in Arizona desert country or California’s Death Valley. With plenty of twisty bits, the road course also offers up some nice high speed sections, allowing you to stretch the legs of whichever car you happen to be speeding through the desert in.  The road course is a pleasant departure from the dedicated circuits and with all that open space, it should make for some high speed fun!

Just a note, the video of the Maserati Levante is from the original PC launch earlier this year.

Maserati’s Levante SUV looks to be a direct competitor for Porsche’s Cayenne. The Italian coach builders have produced their first car for the SUV market segment with a top speed of 160 mph or 257 kmh, this car is definitely no slouch!  The 2016 Levante will feature Maserati’s 3.0L V6 engine in two tuning configurations. One version is a turbocharged V6 diesel and the other a twin turbo’d V6 petrol driven engine. 2018 will see a 560 horsepower V8 added to the line. An 8-Speed ZF automatic transmission from the sixth-generation Maserati Quattroporte drives all four wheels of this luxury SUV.

The ample performance of this SUV should provide players with plenty of opportunities to go four wheel drifting through all the high speed bends to be found in Black Cat County!
