The IER Modding Group has been hard at work developing a mod to bring the TUDOR United SportsCar Series to Assetto Corsa. Now, they have released their first preview video, showcasing the Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype race car at Magione. This is one of the first scratch-built cars to be publicly displayed in the sim (Someone did a conversion of Netkar Pro’s Vintage GT last year).
The car is in an early WIP status (hence the helmet sticking through the roof), but you can really see it’s coming along nicely. It will be exciting to see how the TUSCC series will be translated to Assetto Corsa, and will prove to be a true test of the sim’s modding capabilities.
