Kunos Simulazioni has released new screenshots of the BMW M235i Racing that will be part of the forthcoming ‘Dream Pack’. The little bimmer is the first car from the Dream Pack to have detailed screenshots released and damn does it look good…especially with that body….and livery…and while going around the Ring. Yes, the work in progress Nurburgring Nordschleife does make a guest appearance in the shots and I’m sure it’ll be the featured background for when the rest of the cars are previewed.
As for the BMW, it is propelled by the most powerful petrol engine developed so far for a BMW M Performance Automobile: a six-cylinder in-line engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology. With a capacity of 2,979ccm, the racing version is capable of generating 333hp (245kW).
Motorsport-specific driving aids such as ABS, DSC and traction control ensure that the motorsport newcomers can also handle the BMW M235i Racing surely and safely. The car also comes with mechanical limited-slip differential, which is also available for the BMW M235i Coupé in the original BMW Parts range. The racing car is also fitted with features such as the FIA-certified safety cell and the modern safety tank.
Not surprisingly, Kunos is still mum on details surrounding the Dream Pack release date and cost. They have stated that it is in final development and beta testing, so it should be here sooner than later. They also added that additional features and updates will be coming online with the release of the Dream Pack. I assume that means even if you do not purchase the Dream Pack, you’ll still be receiving updates to the base title (please let it be an AI improvement). In the meantime, we’ll keep posting the preview shots and hopefully you’ll have a towel down so you don’t make too much of a mess from drooling (not the other thing…get your mind out of the gutter) over the pretty pretty in-game screenshots.
