Assetto Corsa 0.8.5 Released

Kunos Simulazioni has released version 0.8.5 of their Assetto Corsa simulation, bringing more content and features. The most notable additions are the Lotus Evora, as well as the ability to simulate a full race weekend.

The Lotus Evora GTC/GX is based off of the Evora GT4 race car, with wider wheels and aerodynamic enhancements added to the car. The doors, roof, and tailgate have been replaced by carbon fiber panels, as well as a Lexan windshield, to provide a significant weight reduction. the GTC is aimed towards international racing series, while the GTX is being used in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

Many fans have asked for the ability to run a full race weekend, and Kunos has delivered! Racers are now able to participate in free practices, qualify, and then run the race. This will definitely lay some solid framework for when Kunos releases online gameplay in the near future.
