Slightly Mad Studios has released a new trailer for World of Speed, highlighting one of the most heated rivalries in all of motorsport (and no, we’re NOT talking Holden vs Ford 😉 ). The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and Subaru Impreza WRX STi both have star studded rally pedigrees, and for over 2 decades have been bitter rivals in the WRC, competing tooth and nail to be the best. Now, you’ll be able to live out the rivalry in World of Speed, where you can compete in the variety of team based challenges. The trailer showcases the two legendary cars duking it out through the streets of San Francisco.
World of Speed is a free-to-play racing title developed by Slightly Mad Studios in collaboration with My.com, bringing team based gameplay to racing titles. You will be able to form a club, and compete with other clubs in challenges where crossing the line first does not guarantee a victory. Team performance is key, and there will be different criteria where your team will be judged, such as speed, drifting, and overtaking. In addition to the Mitsubishi and Subaru, World of Speed will feature cars from automakers such as McLaren, Pagani, Mercedes-Benz, and much more!
