Presenting our impressions of Gran Turismo Sport from E3 2016. E3 presented a unique opportunity to sample Gran Turismo Sport in two different settings. On Wednesday, John joined Jordan Greer of GT Planet, Peter aka Slap Train of YouTube stardom and a number of GT Sport employees at the Sony booth for a one lap race against each other at Nordschleife in the Renault Sport R.S. 01. The next day, saw John traveling to Polyphony’s Venice Beach location for a media event featuring GT mastermind, Kazunori Yamauchi.
While jumping from a multiplayer race to an AI race provides its own opportunity to compare and contrast, the real interesting difference between the two events were the differing physics. With the Venice Beach GT Sport setups having the latest and greatest build, there was a noticeable difference between the feel of the game at the two locations.
Watch to find out what John thought of the differences, plus what Kaz had to say about the latest iteration of his venerable series.
