Hi All, We created an Amazon store that's pretty basic and currently only for U.S. shoppers. If you purchase something from it and then other items through Amazon, we make a small commission. It won't cost anymore than Amazon normally does but will help support our show and website and would be greatly appreciated ! You can get to it by going here : http://www.isrtv.com/isrtv-amazon-store/ Thank for your support !

    • As the title states I'm looking for a nice set of pedals.
    • Oh RX all the way! I've been hooked on RX for many years now. I think they nailed RX in D4. I'm hoping since it's "The Official RX game of the FIA" that they will invest more time into it such as more tracks.   Cheers!
    • I think under normal usage an extension wouldn't be of much use, however it will give the benefit of being able to get behind the TV to play with the cables when needed.
Normal viewing distance for a 55in HDTV is between 6-12ft. Keep in mind when I say "normal viewing distance" that's for watching TV. I have the GT Omega wheel stand and I'm really enjoying it so far. The only issues I have with it is that's it heavy, more so once the wheel and pedals are on it. Also it's good deal more of a chore to set up and put away compared to the Wheel Stand Pro, but then the WSP is very very basic and little to no room for upgrading. While you're thinking about what else to buy, don't forget about the TH8A shifter from Thrustmaster.
    • @Narzugon Thank you to take the time to reply and honestly after  reading your lines and watching the video i feel much better  Currently I am having a blast with Buggies and RX  that really shines at this point of the game, the career seems to be a bit short  but i am sure they will add some challenges for us I am sure CM will not let us down on the rally part of the game it is a just a matter of time
    • Hey Turbo Turtle, I read your post over on the Codies forums and replied early on (IIRC). I also made another post in the Ultimate Thread I don't know if you seen (huge thread). I wanna post it here just in case. I guess you could say that I'm optimistic and hopeful for D4. I'm just not a road racing guy. I've always been dirt oriented whether it was dirt bikes, bicycles, 4WD etc. Dirt motorsports is where it's at for me. So when DR came out I was in heaven. I can see areas where D4 has improved and areas that still need work but overall I'm still in. As for the future, I think they had to release before they wanted to and now will have to play catch up. Watch this 4 minute segment where Paul talks mainly about the physics. I think this was release day or shortly afterwards. I don't think there were many complaints about My Stage at that point. Oh and one last point. I agree with your views on My Stage and I also understand what they were shooting for with it. I'm hoping that they will add more detail to it in the near future. I'd love to see the handmade DR maps added to the career along side of My Stage. But from what I understand that was not possible due to licensing issues with the FIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Since this is the "Ultimate Thread" I'll repost here.

I'm not sure if you have seen it but grip levels and game physics were addressed by Paul Coleman in The Dirt Show interview.

To me he said alot so watch it for yourself. Here are a few excerpts that I pulled that stand out to me. Again watch the interview for full context.

"We got Petter Solberg and his son in and they were able to spend alot of time playing Rallycross. I think we got very very good feedback from them and got very close to what the Rallycross drivers wanted as a group for their cars to feel like. And so were really really positive and confident that Rallycross is exactly where it needs to be."

"For Rally we didn't have as much time with Chris Meek and we only really got to focus in on the modern cars. Because that's what he has the most experience in driving."

"By now simulating stuff properly we've found that the cars are more consistent and probably have, I guess what people are perceiving to be more grip. It's not actually grip. They're feeling like it has more of that stability that's kinda holding it to the road and not letting it break traction as freely as it did in Rally. And as a result we do need to sit down and we do need to look at ways that we can improve that. How those improvements get brought into the game or if they get brought into the game, we don't know at this stage because it's such a fundamental thing to the entire experience. And it really is like a big thing to be switching up."

"But the key thing is they need to be validated by drivers who have experience driving these cars. And ultimately we need to find a driver or a number of drivers who have the real world experience and we need to get that time to sit down and dial this in. Because it's not just something we can change based on many many opinions that comes through. This needs to be done as you would engineer a test session with a car."
