    • Pretty typical FNG question.
I can appreciate that but, I'm already pushing my budget by going the thrustmaster route.  Almost solely due to the th8a.  The only other option overall that I can see is the g29 as far as staying even remotely close to 500 bucks.   Just making sure that is indeed the case.  I was gonna go the t150 route but figured I'd be better off with the t300.  Need a wheel for PS4 for pcars.  And for 150 the th8a without requiring ANYTHING else is a good deal in my eyes.  Plus, I'm mostly going to use it for truck driving which is long and sloppy anyway.   I've already ordered the th8a.  So, what it really boils down to is, is the t300 rs plus the t3pa pro as good as it gets ATM for wheel and pedal combo (for the price)?  As far as I can tell that is the case the g29 not withstanding.  I'm really not interested in the g29 shifter.
    • Sim PCs will build to spec
I am placing an order this week for components for another build.  Now is a great time to order up a PC, as I can save you a few extra bucks by combining my orders......  Shoot me a PM if looking to get a PC built.
    • Xbox Uni Hub + CSW V1 Button Mapping Question
Hello again, I have a question I thought I would post here. I recently purchased an Xbox One Universal Hub second hand. The hub is in very nice condition and seems to function perfectly. However I have one weird issue which may be driver/FW or uni hub related. So, when using my Xbox universal hub with PC, in PC mode, the button boxes do not match the buttons built into the hub. As I understand, and according to the manual, the button box buttons should duplicate the built in buttons. Therefore I would expect pressing button A on one of the boxes would illuminate both button A one the button box and on the built in panel. However, If I enter the driver control panel, and press particular buttons on the button boxes, a blue dot appears on the button I am pressing, but the second blue dot which should show over that same input on the built in panel, shows over a different input. Vice-versa provides the same result only reversed. I can press "A" on one of the button boxes and it will show button A on the box illuminated (the exact button my finger is on) however something else such as LSB will be illuminated on the built in panel. At first I thought it was a wiring issue, as in the boxes where plugged into the improper connector on the PCB, but I realized this was not the case as the exact button being pressed will always illuminate correctly, only the duplicate input will be illuminated incorrectly. Also, a couple of the inputs are in fact matching up correctly, while other buttons on the same box do not match up properly. I hope this isn't confusing, I'm not sure if I am describing the issue well. I can provide a list of the buttons being pressed VS the duplicate input being illuminated to show how they do not match. I can also get screenshots if necessary. For reference, I am running driver 226 FW V115, and this is the only driver/FW I have used. I know that there was an update to allow more buttons to be mapped on the PC in the previous driver 222 and FW V109, and in the Fanatec forum post about the hubs shipping out there is a note that mentions button mapping issues, claiming they will be fixed with future updates. I have not tried with FW v095, which is the fist UHX compatible FW, because I have head about other issues relating to that FW.  I thought someone else here might be using the same setup and could provide me with some insight. Overall I am quite happy with the UHX, I also have a CSR elite which I used up until today when I finally set up my recently acquired (separately) CSW V1 base and Xbox hub. The elite is great, with the light stock rim and formula rim the ffb is amazing, but having the added features of the CSW V1 and UHX is a nice trade-off for a bit less FFB making it to my hands. The FOR setting helps too.  Thanks for looking!   Here's some pics for fun  (the Carbon Paddles didn't come with the Hub, regular aluminum ones came did)

My opinion is the thurstmaster shifter feels a bit loose I used it for a while I am using the fanatec sequential h pattern shifter and that feels a lot more sold.

AMD software is much much better along with the driver update process.  I've yet to have a successful Nvidia driver update first time round and have to go through a series of uninstall steps to get an update to work.  Ultimately it's about performance, and the G1 980TI does that in bucket loads at a good price.
