We created an Amazon store that's pretty basic and currently only for U.S. shoppers. If you purchase something from it and then other items through Amazon, we make a small commission. It won't cost anymore than Amazon normally does but will help support our show and website and would be greatly appreciated !
You can get to it by going here : http://www.isrtv.com/isrtv-amazon-store/
Thank for your support !
It's a BenQ XR3501, 35" ultra-wide 2560x1080, 144Hz. John Sabol has a triple setup of these, and he's reviewed them two or three times (check the ISRTV Youtube channel or past articles).
This, and the comparable Acer monitor are great for sim-racing.
With an ultra-wide, if you're sitting close, I think a curved monitor is actually better. A large curved TV sitting across the room--not so much, more of a gimmicky thing.
Have you looked in to karting brake systems? The master and slave are combined and are pretty hearty because they are exposed and made to race. And you don't need a shit ton of hydraulic fluid for them to build pressure and be consistent. just food for thought.
That's what I keep telling people... if you are going to do the damn thing... do it right?
Then again, that's probably why I'm having trouble selling one of my two complete osw rigs... all the stuff is brand new (especially on the one I never use), but people don't perceive it as such. Ah well, it's nice to have options right?
